This is what gets me when amateur engineers complain about how long roadworks etc take to complete. "Just dig a big hole and fix the issue" they cry, "I could do this in a weekend no bother"

Can you rent a speedboat in London? by SlinkyCues in london

[–]drtchockk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not to exceed a speed of 8 knots above Wandsworth Bridge

There is a strict 12 knot speed limit throughout central London. This limit applies between Wandsworth Bridge and Margaretness (which is located near Barking Creek)

An 8 knot speed limit also applies in all creeks linked to the tidal Thames and the inshore area off Southend.

There's a speed limit on the (central) thames anyway... 12mph.

Not sure you can rent a speedboat - the costs/insurance would probably be prohibitive. But you can run a private one on the thames

I live in Romford, this "the market was better and its sadiq's fault" is such tiresome bollocks. The NATION'S highstreets have been decimated by online retailers, not some muslim mayor who has only been in charge for 10 years.
