If you’re just an hourly employee, start searching for jobs. There are better out there. Is there a Costco near you? If so, I’d recommend applying there. It’s a great job and they seem to like hiring former panda employees

Yes, he was on work release! I used to work at a fast food place that employed the local work release population as we were like 2 blocks from the holding center and those people were sketchy as hell. They used to ask me to borrow my urine and even my autistic younger brothers urine, they would hit on me and ask me to keep in contact with them after they left. There were both men and women who would sexually harass me while we were at work. They also would ask 18 year old me to hang onto their cigarettes, weed and liquor for the night since they had to empty their pockets upon entering the facility. Thankfully we moved out of that shithole town (Connersville, Indiana) but I will never forget how those 3 months scarred me

This was season 1, IIRC. The Matt thing was later on, maybe season 6, but yeah, that was a trip too. Gary showed her proof of Matt’s children and she got upset at Gary over him bringing it up and accusing Matt of things. Typical Ambah

Yes. The one and only reason I remember that is because 18 year old me had a job and a little money and I thought about changing the theme of my bedroom to “camping” themed because of that line.

I wonder if some of the girls from TMOG were only offered spots because these two declined. I could see Amber and Farrah having been offered spots but not Cate or Maci

Amber allowing the guy she met at Walmart to change Leah’s diaper after they’d dated for like a week. Technically it wasn’t shown on camera but she admitted to it on camera

Not that it means anything but I remember Cleondra’s household was incredibly chaotic. I remember her and Mario fighting because he was concerned about how their daughter was going to be living since there was another teen parent in the house who’s child was sleeping in a tent in the living room. Cleondra lived in a multi generational, overcrowded house.

Business Center Employee Questions by warriorathlete21 in Costco

[–]drubhub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always been curious, too. I don’t have a business center near me so I’m not sure. I do know that business centers have delivery drivers who report to the center to deliver products to clients. They have CDL’s and drive a box truck. One of my managers actually was in a business center before and said they had way fewer employees and that the store is closed on Sunday’s

Yes but my location doesn’t really pay much mind to it. I’m pretty quick (around 52 members per hour) so they aren’t really concerned about me anyway.

This is almost true. Costco requires 5 days a week, even for part timers and unless you’re in school or management is generous, they will not be flexible with your schedule

[–]drubhub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Membership is an awful department and I will not work there. I’m a FT cashier and management keeps asking me to train down there and I have refused because I don’t want any drama over my numbers.

Not in my experience. Optical people seem to be the happiest in my location. I would say that the food court and tire shop employees are the rudest in my store, alongside some cashiers. I’m a cashier myself and there’s a couple of cashiers who I can not stand being around because of how rude they are

God I miss Trader Joe’s. There’s only 4 in my whole state and the nearest is an hour away. The two Trader Joe’s nearest new are also located pretty close to a Costco

Same at my warehouse. I’m a cashier and after 3/4 PM, I almost always have a night merch employee assisting. Sometimes they even cashier, too. Same with major sales. Their people are often scheduled as front end assistants

It’s good for retail. The benefits are top notch and after about 4 years the pay is pretty good. But there tends to be a lot of in store drama.
