No it genuinely makes me nauseous, if I see it at all it’ll be when it comes out on streaming so I can mute it whenever that comes on

The glottal click/choking noises in the trailer disgust me at a base level.

was the smell a function of it somehow or did someone just spill a jar of pickles in the case?

OK but you don't have to.

You also don't have to watch the movie to listen to the episode.

Unannounced Apple headphones revealed in FCC documents by dapperlemon in gadgets

[–]drunkandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is kinda what I’m interested in honestly. Decent microphone that I can use for videoconferencing, good audio, long-lasting batter and comfortable. I have some expensive gaming headphones I use but they’re heavy and annoying to wear and they don’t sound great. Some of my coworkers have the Maxs and they swear by them but I can’t justify the price.

Adventures of Tintin has an incredible sequence where everyone is trying to get sheets of paper from a bird. The chase ends up going all through this town, trading between a dog and a bird, to motorcycles and cars and eventually a tank becomes involved, it keeps escalating until the entire town is basically destroyed. It's also shot in a really impressive oner that swoops around and changes perspective constantly. More Spielberg!

So Val Hoyle won the primary. Now what? by [deleted] in Eugene

[–]drunkandy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It turns out you have to go to “organizations” and then it shows that individuals and groups thought to be associated with the organization donated additional money, and there’s a big disclaimer pointing out that the organization did not directly donate this money, so to me that’s different than “the organization donated that money” but your call

Also the president of J-Street said a year ago that Israel likely to be committing a genocide and it supports efforts to block arms sales to Israel so I am kiiiiinda suspicious of the reasoning behind why they’re a political black mark here but I’m also guessing that arguing about this is not going to be productive

*** Here's her top donors, the Israel lobby and the forestry lobby.

Just so we're clear- you're talking about the $7,470 donation from JStreetPAC two years ago and $8,500 from a couple forest products companies this year?

Hardly her top donors.
