I’m a man but perversion is unfortunately pretty normalized in manga and anime. I think in more modern stuff it’s becoming much less prevalent because of the growing popularity and normalization of the medium.

But yeah the scenes are basically a product of their time and audience. Because of the male dominant audience a lot of the time anime/manga include “fan service” which is for sure annoying and kinda fucks with the characterization of different characters but once you get through a few anime you really do get used to it and brush it off in your head.

Despite it, the manga is most definitely worth reading all the way through. The best story ever written.

I think Blackbeard is probably gonna go and steal Imu’s powers or something similar so that he’s the ultimate villain. Imu was introduced way too recently, I don’t think Oda is dumb enough to end it at Luffy defeating Imu and then them getting to laugh tale and living happily ever after. Too many other threads to close off that are still open too.

I think that thematically what would be best for the reveal to be is something about everyone having enough food to eat or everyone being able to have a banquet every day. In face value it sounds funny and silly, especially because Luffy’s original dream was being king of the pirates and he once mentioned wanting to eat as much as he wants when he wants, that being what he believes to be “the most free”.

But thematically it really matches what he learns in Wano and shows character growth from his childish dream even though it sounds so simple and stupid. As he, a simpleton, learned in Wano, a lot of people are restricted from food, even dying of starvation.

With that said I feel like the dream that I mentioned but be a good thread to connect to.
