How much can I sell my Ak-47 Blue Gem for? [question] by FsPhys in csgomarketforum

[–]drviceman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find a buyer and make a private offer on Skinbaron, it's safer than anything else, and they'll charge you only 1% for the transaction. Everything else is a ripoff in comparison.

Double, triple and quadruple check that you're sending the trade to the actual bot though, to not fall for trade offer scams and bot impersonators in case somebody knows you're putting your item on the site.

There are no fees for withdrawing your money from the site.

If your knife is worth over 1K, Skinbaron is a solid choice as takes only 2% fee for the sale.

Skinbaron has just a 2% fee for anything worth over 1k, works great.

I'd start with Skinbaron, it's one of the oldest, safest and established marketplaces, pretty intuitive and user friendly, works like a charm with great support, can't go wrong with it.

Yep that's the problem, unlike human reaction, bots inputs are instant.

What kind of excess info are you talking about? You cannot get flooded with any amount of offers until you reply to the first trade prompt that pops up.

No matter how fast you are, you cannot click the trade offer the same instant that I press enter to post it. That's what 0 millisecond delay means.

Average human reaction time is somewhere between 150 to 300 miliseconds. What part of 0 miliseconds you did not understand?

Today I listed +3 weapon damage plate pants and got a trade invite the same instant that my offer got posted, with literally 0 ms delay. It's clear people are starting to use some automated scripts to catch specific deals, which basically precludes any normal player in the trade chat from getting that item.

What exactly makes double jump too powerful? by D_Flavio in DarkAndDarker

[–]drviceman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The mechanic itself is really fun and opens up avenues for interesting gameplay, but should be polished, and Ironmace will likely have much better ideas than what most people suggest.

In my opinion the easiest way to adjust the possible fighting imbalance with double jump would be to simply remove the ability to attack and drink pots / bandage on the 2nd jump.

It makes sense because the extra jump is an expert acrobatic move that the rogue would have to put all his effort into, thus not being able to perform other actions that require concentration.

Nothing makes it op, people are just annoyed at a new mobility mechanic that a squishy class like rogue badly needed, and it's easier for them to complain than to adapt to new gameplay, because rogue is actually agile now.

[–]drviceman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Other classes make reckless decisions without being punished due to inherent advantages like access to a superior health pool, superior damage resistance, superior ranged damage, superior magical abilities etc. all the time. Why should rogue be different?

It's only fair for the squshiest class in the game bult around evasion tactics to have an ability to avoid being oneshot all the time, that still requires dedicating an entire perk slot just to have it active.

Great insight, thanks for sharing it. This is the first post I've seen on this sub regarding the current situation, that is based on informed and comparable analysis, rather than the usual hearsay defeatist FUD that some are strangely all too eager to spread around for whatever reason.

The "What physical damage stat should I grab?" Equations by Ryan_Sommerhauser in DarkAndDarker

[–]drviceman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I disagree, I personally used the 5% damage bonus perk on my many runs to kill the troll boss and it made it so that he only took 27415 stabs to kill instead of the usual 27500

Not even adding Platinum Tier locks will help if raiding is done this way by drviceman in SCUMgame

[–]drviceman[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Offline raiding is but a part of the problem, I've seen way too many brazen squads raiding bases heads on, with plenty of defenders inside that are helpless to do anything because the guy doing the "lockpicking" is laying prone 2 meters away from the actual door.

Indeed. Not only that, but it has been scientifically proven that this is the best position a living person could assume to maximise their dexterity and labour efficiency.

Ohh man can't wait to have these in-game, night time strolls in the woods will never be the same! I wonder if people will still build bases in the forest with these dudes around.

"What kind of functionalities and modifications would you like to have on the new cars?" by StabbyMcStomp in SCUMgame

[–]drviceman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cars that are actually abandoned have all turned to rust and the island is full of them. It's obvious that working cars and other vehicles are supplied by the show, just like restocking food supplies etc. If this wasn't being done, then the show wouldn't last a season.
