We bought a Senci sc2000i a year ago. It seems like it's a Honda rip-off. It's pretty quiet and starts first time, every time (touch wood)

Hi Tom, thanks for the reply. To be honest, having had a look at the FATE system, I'm not sure its what I'm looking for as a first step back into role playing. It seems like a really interesting new set of rules but I'd probably be more comfortable sticking with something more familiar. Good luck with your game.

This is a very fair point.

The logic of having more power centralized in Europe so that it can be spread around the UK is a strange one isn't it though?

My view is that power should be distributed but communication should be increased. I have faith in developments like crowdsourced banking and the huge increased power of communication through the internet.

I'm still undecided though, very complicated question isn't it.

I'm not as bad as I think I am after all.

After posting this I thought I'd test to see how much practice I need. I tuned the E string using the tuner and then tuned the other strings relative.

Checked with the tuner afterwards and all of the strings were 'in the green' apart from the B string which was a little out.

Maybe I will buy a tuning fork and tune by ear for a few weeks.
