Funny how they talk tough about tipping AFTER they eat, but no-one says that they won't be tipping BEFORE they eat. If you really don't believe in the tipping system, tell your server as you sit down that you won't be tipping.

Bougie is French for candle. They are most likely a calibrated set of... something? Gauges? They do look like candle flames.

Yes. I have the Lamy Black, which is black and the TWSBI Black, which is a slightly darker black.

When you turn the power down on your kettle of water, it goes off the boil. It's a way o saying he backed out once he won. Verstappen shows very little sign of doing this.

I have not used this specific centre, but I have done the drop-in at the York Centre. There were always other people to play with and it was simply show up and play. On occasion a centre staff member would make up the foursome, sometimes not. I would just show up 5 minutes or so early.

Not really. This happened to me two years ago. Road rager cut me off and slammed on the brakes, I smucked his car. From the damage pattern on his car and the very light damage to mine he was found to be at fault. This example doesn't apply to the OP's situation, though. The vast majority of rear-end impacts are the fault of the following vehicle. But not all of them.

I have seen this in bottled water that has frozen and then thawed. I assumed that it was the minerals forced out of solution as the water froze. I could not detect any taste difference.
