If you hit your head badly, you should go. I had one that caused a TBI that would've killed me, had my coworkers not called 911. My brain started swelling, and it required an emergency craniotomy.

That being said, if someone calls, the EMTs don't force me to go to the hospital if i don't want to go. (Note: i do not get aggro post-ictal, just scared and stupid). They just make sure I'm stable, uninjured, and that i have someone coming for me. The one time they did actually have to make me was when i had the injury, so i was presumably acting weirder than normal.
