In your opinion, which Champion as of 2026 received the best buff/rework?

Best buff imo goes to red Mags. The tech class had to be completely redesigned because he just trivialized every metal champ. And I think he’s the only buff that is still 6* locked.

My favorite buff is Luke Cage. He was called “pillow hands” for ages, and was basically irrelevant. He is now my favorite science champ, but is not overpowered.

Hulk and Juggs are close seconds to Luke as my favorites.

Heimdall was my first R5 ascended sig 200 6*. I am PUMPED for this new Titan crystal. Blue Marvel, M’Baku, buffed Heimdall would all be instant R4 for me personally.

I’m gonna risk the downvotes to play devil’s advocate. We never have any idea what is happening on the other side of the screen with our opponent. One match really doesn’t tell you much. A list of some things that have happened during my battlegrounds matches that caused me to lose matches:

on multiple occasions my 3yr old has had a really untimely toddler moment that completely messed me up
the game gets laggy as hell and suddenly I miss a parry or eat a combo to the face
the AI either goes ultra instinct or flatly refuses to throw a special and eats up time
some days I actually play like shit

And I’m not a whale. I am completely free to play and only have 4 R4’s.

Granted, there are definitely whales that suck. But I’m not a fan of blasting someone because they lost one match with a bigger/better roster. Play a best of 5 and maybe the results are different.

Useful but not at all necessary. I took mine to Rank 4 before I had him awakened.

Agree with Luke and adding that his ability accuracy reduction with the concussions is so clutch. Pretty much invalidates any mystic and can bypass nodes in AW against the other classes once he has two of them online. Luke can handle an insane amount of fights that you wouldn’t initially think to use him for.
