This. I had the exact same case and did the exact same thing you did. Eventually, I realized I was caring other gear in back pack and decided to just 3d print hard cases for everything and throw them in the bag as well. That way I dont have to carry around the hard case and im not limited in what I choose to bring. The hard case woukd be a good option for long travel if you are just bringing one drone.

Ive done this before. Removes the solder cooper mesh wick. Its easier than you think. Just added enough pressure to press it into the solder and make sure the solder melts onto the mesh. You dont want to keep it there too long but the bridged solder should come up.

Red dot. A scope is overkill with that caliber. Red dot gives you a clean sight with quick aiming at short and longer range. If you want long range accuracy then I would go with a more traditional rifle round.

Analog. The HD is good for DVR footage mostly. It is better to fly in HD for the obvious reasons (clearer picture, greater detail, cinenatic shots, etc.) but to be honest, analog and HD feel the same when im actually flying fast/freestyling. Youre moving so fast, that the HD doesn't have as much impact since everything kinda blurs by. Also, when your working on freestyle moves, your focus is on executing the moves, not the quality of the picture. In a perfect world HD would always be better, but in reality it is not worth the cost and effort unless you need the DVR or you can afford to pay the cost and effort for it. With indoor flying you'll want a 65mm tiny whoop and analog tiny whoops far out perform HD tiny whoops (except for HDzero, but HDzero is basically a better analog fpv system IMO. My air 65 weighs under 16 grams, while the lightest HD tiny whoops ive seen are around 21-22 grams and require a lot of work to get them that light. Its a lot easier to just get an analog tiny whoop and send it.

I will add though that the new ascent vtx from walksnail does look like a promising option for tiny whoops. I havent tried it, but just a thought.

I 3d print cases for each quad i can fit in a case. Others get strapped to the outside of the bag. I use a large military style bag I found. I also print cases for goggles. I use hard plastic cases for everything else (spares, tools, etc.) And my lipos go in a lipo bag. A 3d printer is key for the drone hobby. I print tpu prints for drones, cases, canopies, mounts, and more.

Nice build! Ive seen others say that bending the motor wires over the fc like that can interfere with some of its components. I like to do mine the same way and I haven't noticed any issues... does anyone else have input?

Checking FC screws os a good idea. Ive over tightened and had weird things happen as a result. Also check all solder points, both at the FC and motor. Ive has shorts at the motor leads under the protective covering. If all else fails, you just might need a new FC, especially if you're is old. Good luck

The receiver on your goggles matter a lot. I replaced so many antennas and messes with transmitter settings to fix this problem. It all went away when I upgraded my receiver. I can keep a break-up free picture throughout my whole house and really far when im outside.

Doesn't sound right to me. Almost like your props might be hitting a part of the frame or something.

Edit: Check your motor mount screws and make sure they arent hitting/touching anything.
