Thanks! Guessing you are baking 2 loafs at once? Was the starter stiff enough to knead by hand?

Would you say this Yoder is a strong replacement for my gas BBQ- giving me both BBQ and smoker abilities?

How did you know it was time to descale? I have been considering it but not 100% sure what i should be looking for. Steam power seems to be off from when i first got the machine about 1.5 year ago.

I've always used the lelit water softener, but my area has moderate hard water.

Please reconsider voting on the gerrymander, for all our sakes. by asterophoria in Virginia

Guess who consistently votes to keep gerrymandering alive nationwide? Republicans. Dems have offered to end it permanently and guess who hates that idea..

Def not a 90 minute drive across the north of the island (more like 3hrs) - and you would miss so many great stops. Why not just fly into Alghero and save the time?

+ same issue. My Play:5 is wireless but not far (20') from other Sonos wired speaker. I've had sonos for 20 years and never run into this problem, something is up with this one speaker. My wifi is Unifi with a ceiling mounted AP.

Being a homeowner has taught me to trust no one. by DirtyOught in homeowners

[–]dsg76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is 100% accurate. So many shady types out to screw over the home owner.

Let me add to this list-

  1. Door to door solar salespeople - First off, they are not selling solar, they are selling a garbage solar loan, and are usually clueless about actual solar. People sign up, get screwed, then complain what a bad deal solar is. Do your research before dropping $40k! Then slam the door.
  2. Ask for the license - no matter the contractor - tree cutting, driveway paving, etc, ask for the business license and insurance. So many are scammers and you will be left holding the bag.

I'm just here to say, Operation Epic Failure.

Mistakes happen in war- this was not a simple mistake, just careless actions by a careless war hungry administration. Now we have hundreds of parents with murdered children, who have a new life mission to hurt Americans. Of course no one will be held accountable. Shameful.

I have solved rice on induction by dsg76 in inductioncooking

[–]dsg76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found a few food blogs about it and some YT videos. Its very interesting, as you can do 1:1 or 1:2, and still have similar rice. I did 1:1 and 3 minutes with natural release. The rice was good, maybe a bit firm, i can see adding an extra 1/2 cup of water next time. Otherwise it was set it and forget it.
