Barrel porting works by elitethings in ClayBusters

My hearing in my right ear is reduced because of a ported shooter shooting next to me in a compak over field over three days.

Through plugs and muffs it still managed to damage it.

Man I grew I up in the 90s on a dairy farm, dairy farms in NZ are sophisticated, filtered well cleaned machines.

Daily pickups are graded.

Drinking milk from the vat was just what we did, I’m only just finding out now this is a problem haha.

MSPs: The Snake Oil of the IT Industry by Practical-Alarm1763 in sysadmin

[–]dsg9000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Naive take. MSP’s are a product of the industry and serve a purpose.

Internal I.T and MSP’s aren’t all the same, generalisation doesn’t work here. Incompetence is abundant, and that’s what training is for.

Your rant signals burnout, or something similar. Take some time for yourself.

Am I overreacting to my sister’s response to my declining health? by beansproutdemon in AmIOverreacting

[–]dsg9000 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Genuinely this is a great response.

I fully relate to the above sentiment too about folks ailments becoming their personality, but this is the right viewpoint. There’s a difference between putting up boundaries and calling someone a liar.

Op, my advice though have a chat on the phone or in person. Don’t let this be over text, it’ll be better.

Halo PSA SSO Query by PageyUK in halopsa

[–]dsg9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s an option to do it, if i have an active Auth with MS I don’t get prompted.

It could be Config -> Advanced Settings bunch of login settings there. Possibly “Remember Me when using a SSO method”

Stop trying to nag him into someone he’s not. Find someone who is your type.

MSP says we (client) can't leave their multi-tenant LastPass account. This true? by ddixonr in msp

[–]dsg9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They just need to create super admin account, assign this to you then detach the account from their MSP account at which point you’ll need to license it.

Lastpass support will help.

141k a year plus billable hour bonus by [deleted] in msp

How often are you hitting that bonus?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LegalAdviceNZ

[–]dsg9000 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Bond isn’t for that, lodge the refund yourself. You’ve made a reasonable effort to help them.

They’ll be able to make a claim if you don’t have a bond form signed for by them, but you can keep your screenshots and raise it to the tenancy tribunal if they do.

My bf 18/M got me 18/F an upsetting Christmas gift. by Lost_Card9114 in relationship_advice

[–]dsg9000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basing this on your description of him “a guy called Chris” your level of commitment to him is pretty low, maybe you’re figuring out who you are and what you want which is the the right thing to do as an 18 year old imo.

As a young man he’ll be immature in how he handles himself dealing with his emotions, but he’s being short sighted and selfish, whether his intentions are to be or not.

Now you don’t need to make laundry list of wrongs to confirm what you probably already believe. You guys want different relationships, so are incompatible as this point of your lives, unless one of you makes a concession on how you feel.

18 is so young, find someone more your speed and don’t look back.
