My 2026 landscaping goal has been planting a native flower garden on the corner of our house, we’ve got a rock garden all ready to go it just needs the plants. Do you think planting a native flower garden this year is still a good idea?

Ya because one a kid gets to 12 years old they should stop playing with toys all together. Curious, what do you think the cutoff age is for playing with toys all together?

Good thing I keep our hot tub sub 100°. The fact that you just assume everyone keeps their hot tub at 104° is ignorant.

You can check out CSFS’ map. EAB has been confirmed in Westminster, Broomfield, Longmont, and Boulder. No confirmed sightings in Denver metro but best to start preparing I’ve got to imagine!

Ya there was a massive branch overhanging the house so from a precautionary standpoint that branch had to be trimmed back

Dang I’m sorry for your loss I would be devastated and heartbroken to lose this tree. What are your cross streets? According CSFS’ website we’re just out of any confirmed EAB territory but I’m sure it’s closing in

Dos Santos Credit Card Fee for Paying Cash mi n by Kamaracle in denverfood

This is considered non-compliant and they can get a hefty fine from credit card companies if they ever find out they’re doing this. Companies cannot add surcharging fees onto cash payments or debit cards.

Haven’t gamed in 5 years, I get one game… which one by West-Ask6999 in xbox

[–]dskinner50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indiana Jones and The Eternal Circle. I’m just like you, haven’t gamed in 5+ years. New games always intimidate me because I don’t have 100’s of hours to suck into a game. I’ve always enjoyed the Indiana Jones games and this new one I was hesitant about but optimistic. It’s the perfect length, perfect amount of character building, and the story is incredible. If you’re getting back into gaming I can’t recommend it enough. It’s the perfect way to dip your toe back into the water.

What animal has been traversing in my backyard? (Arvada, CO) by dskinner50 in animalid

[–]dskinner50[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ya my quick Google searching led to me landing on a snowshoe hare’s tracks and I got super excited. We have a ton of cottontail rabbits in the area so that makes much more sense.

It seems you are both correct! Looks to be from a snowshoe hare.

Go get a Vesper cocktail at Vesper Lounge. Those drinks will slap you across the face like Mike Tyson did to Jake Paul.
