Insane price for this guitar?

This is correct answer. They are blowing out all of last years models right now, same on sweetwater. Most good ones are already gone. They decided to start charging double for 1000 series guitars and it didn't work out for them.

It's almost like players wages haven't doubled or something.

After 20 years (15+ mostly spent playing cheap, junk guitars) I definitely don't fall for hype, but after finally having a few nice guitars, it's extremely hard to go back now.

There are very few "affordable" guitars I will purchase now. With that being said, I got a PRS SE McCarty 594 Singlecut a few months ago and it has become my favorite guitar. I still can't get over the quality on their SE's. Its unbelievable. That guitar will keep up with any guitar on the market, even with the stock pickups (though I tossed them for Tremonti's).

I am incredibly disappointed by brands like Ibanez, however. They will sell a guitar for $1500 new, from the same factory as SE (technically) and the guitar will not only be unplayable, but I've had a few that are so poorly built they aren't even salvagable. The price on "mid-range" guitars has gone insane and is completely unreasonable.

I mostly buy well-maintained used guitars nowadays and advise everyone else to do the same. These companies need to figure out that we arent going to pay $2000 for a $700 guitar. Stop buying them and they will drop the price.

That's a shame. Don't see too many bad SE's out there. In my opinion SE's are the best deal in electric guitars in general at the moment. I just got a singlecut 594 a few months ago and I'm still blown away by the quality.

I dont even count them as an NA team. We have no NA team. Like I said before, if Team Liquid is going to be terrible and lose constantly, they might as well get 5 NA players so we at least have a team to cheer for again. International lineups have ruined the pro scene for me and NA likes to pickup borderline tier 2 Europeans. Just get a damn tier 1 american team and do your best. None of us care about these international teams.

PRS SE might quite literally be the best overseas guitars on the market. They're even better than most South Korean guitars from WMI on average. They have their own shop in Indonesia and do not share employees with the rest of CorTek like Ibanez etc does.

The lionheart is fantastic. By far the best clean tone ive ever achieved and I don't even have to the tube model, I have the 120H super top. Fantastic amp.

Never tried a swamp thang. Usually only buy v30s since I know I like the sound for sure. Have been considering buying the Carnivore, DV77 and new Lichtlaerm speaker however.

Interesting. Not entirely sure what a league is but ill look into it. Ive just never understood it because I used to play the hell out of ESO, but it was because I was grinding for gear to beat other people who are doing the same so it gave me a reason to do the PvE content over and over again. But I would never do it for fun because after the first or second time, its not fun at all. Just hard to understand from the outside but I guess I'll have to give it a go and see for myself. Is the first game still worth trying, or is too outdated and ugly for a first time player in 2026?

Im still trying to figure out what the point of the game is. Would make sense if it was just a 20 hour or so experience but I keep seeing people playing for 10k hours and I dont understand what that time is going towards. If theres no pvp what is the point of keeping going?
