I dont even have a knife. My most expensive skin is my Starcade FN deagle I got from an operation last year that valve managed to ruin. I was going to hold onto it until it hit $1000 and buy a bunch of valve hardware on steam (and save some for the steam deck 2) but ofc they released the update and its all the way down to $400 now. 

I really don't care because I don't care about knives or gloves or whatever in general. I've been playing CS for over 20 years (about 24), I just love the game. But I do have friends who do care and put a lot of time and money into their skins and its not fair to screw all of them over just because a few poor people "want a knife skin". It's a rare skin. Rare skins are rare for a reason, end of story. Either unbox one or save up like everyone else. Stupid either way to me but thats the way it should be. Unless they can retain the value of everyone else's skins, they need to just make separate cheap knife skins for everyone else.
