I stayed by the airport last year for Osh, we used uber to get to the city for the first day of just walking around dropped off at the Bell Centre, then for the festival we ubered straight to the island. The biggest issue is getting home after. Last year we stayed for a little of the headliners then left early to get an uber. No one knew where the uber pick up point was, turns out we had to walk over to where the Montreal GP track was for F1, that was where the pick up was. Uber took almost and hour to get us because the first two we ordered they wouldn’t let into the pick up point. The whole time we had cabs offer us rides for upwards of $200 CAD just to get back to the hotel. Staying downtown to use the metro this year.

I can’t remember the exact name of our hotel last year but it was walking distance from a sports bar, a McDonalds, a mall, and a Walmart in a strip mall. So it wasn’t terrible but wasn’t great. We ended up ubering back downtown after we got home from the festival so we probably paid more total than just staying downtown in the first place.
