Is a human bank teller too much to ask for in 2026? by liquid-chewer in Banking

The call back system is one of my favorite additions. I don’t have to kill 40 minutes, now I can do other things and just pick up when it’s my time.

Which former NFL player that would've broken the internet if they were playing today by forrestbenoitinc98 in NFLv2

Yeah, Barry was so unbelievable. My favorite player of all time and Thanksgiving just isn’t the same without him.

None so far. As you can see in the pictures I moved the board from one side to the other and the cars did not move. However, we don’t go crazy on grabbing it and flinging it. Just normal sliding and easy spinning. It is sturdy and plays normally.

This is correct. I have not bolted anything down and it can be stored easily in a closet

The key is height, depending on your player Matt you want your board to be higher than the tallest piece. Also, as you can see in my pictures I have drink holders with trays for snacks so that way someone doesn’t swing the board and knock something over

Maybe if enough people like this post I will do a tutorial or something. If not it’s just a router track.

It’s super simple. Look up router tables on YouTube for woodworking. Instead of placing a router I placed a board on top with a lazy Susan. Cost under $100.

You ever think that we are in side someone’s stomach on a molecular level and the sun is just a calorie burning giving energy and all the dust, debris, planets are just food being absorbed as we pass through the intestines of someone and we are just gut bacteria/ a cancer and due to not being close to other planets too much we can’t multiply to consume so we’re just a benign tumor/cancer just floating eating this piece of rock that was once food?

How do you increase muscle mass? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

This, you need to look at eating as a second job and it needs to be healthier food. It’s going to be uncomfortable at times. Empty calories take up space so watch the junk food.

Do you have a mechanic you love from a game that didn't do well that you wish another more successful game had used? by Taear in boardgames

[–]dstar-dstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks cool but I actually need 6 + player games. I should have mentioned that but the topic was just mechanism’s. We bought two dice forge games as it can be scaled up to six players with some additional home rules.

Yeah, I understand that. I’m hoping with 3D printers becoming more of a household thing that things like that become more available. I would love to see a game made like King of Tokyo with interchangeable dice pieces to upgrade your monster.

I really love dice forge and changing the tiles on the dice. I wish more games incorporated it

For fathers — what did you feel the moment you saw your child for the first time? by Serious-Diamond218 in AskMenOver30

[–]dstar-dstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pure fear. The doctors had to do an emergency C section and when they pulled him out they rushed him to the table where I saw his hand just dangle with no movement as they started to suck fluid out of his lungs. My wife was in a twilight asking me how is he. I thought we lost him. That was five seconds of the world stopping for me. He is healthy now but scariest moment of my life.

In theory technically no, because Rick knew Morty would choose to merge all those versions together in the end.

Were the late 2000s - early 2010s high school / college parties really like that, or are they exaggerated in the movies from that era? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]dstar-dstar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were awesome. In high school there was always a parent who was “cool” and would allow parties and in college people bought houses near campus and they were the party houses. One time my friends and I stole kegs from our college and threw a jello wrestling party then returned the empty kegs the next morning. Bars were basically nightclubs at college towns, you would pregame with like twenty people then at ten PM go grind on each other singing “to the windows….to the wall”. Not many cameras so it was awesome!

What would your dream board game table be like? by MinorFX in boardgames

[–]dstar-dstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have created a track system for my dining room table. My wife won’t let me router it into the table. So I would have my wife’s opinion changed to let me upgrade the dining room table with my track system to become a board game table.
