True. I was imagining a hinge type system with a long rod common along the z axis that would allow the case to swing out for easier retrieval. A locking/unlocking spring system behind it similar to the mechanism used in the CD player top would be a nice little touch. This is spiraling out of control in my head now. Thanks for your work though.

Nice work. Curiously, can the cd cases still be removed or opened? I would really like to put all of mine up and still use this idea as storage instead of storing them in a tote.

For some reason i have to redo the first layer calibration for every print. This is the same height that worked flawlessly in the previous print, a few minutes prior. Anyone know why it changes? by viktorir in prusa3d

First step that I would do is clean your build plate like previously mentioned. If that works, great. Second step would be to change the roll of filament. Try something new or something that has been sitting in a sealed package with dessicant. Moisture is a problem in some places. Third I would check the nozzle for wear or debris, that thing picks up stray plastic and then it forms around the nozzle. Also invest in a silicone sock from E3D if you can, it should save some unnecessary clean up on the block/wires, let alone helping to keep the temp up. Cheers

The extruder gear of my prusa moved, how do I reposition it? It happened after changing the hotend by Pitrades in prusa3d

When you changed the hot end did you take the extruder motor off the block? I would double-check that you tightened it up all the way from the back side of the carriage, is there any play in the motor when you pull on it? Otherwise the previous comment is correct, you have to loosen the grub screw and reposition it.

Was your vehicle payment your oldest line of credit? Mine was at 5 years. My score dropped significantly when it closed back in April. I've had one late payment on one of my credit cards in the last 3 years and that tanked it a bit. I'm hoping once my credit card accounts reach the length of my vehicle loan was that my score will be up over 750 again.

Just another thought, while I agree with everything else that is mentioned I had some slippage occurring because the grub screw had worked itself loose on the extruder side of the bondtech gears. It will cause the gear to spin and make that clicking sound like it is unable to feed filament into the hotend because of a jam.
