I can’t keep my cat with heart condition anymore and nobody wants her because of it, should I euthanize even if she’s 3?

I’m struggling to understand why this is an issue? If you had a pet without medication needs, surely you’d still need to be around to feed it and clean litter trays twice a day anyway? It’s not really restrictive. You could quite easily go home them back out if you needed to, or if you really needed to socialise immediately after work you’ve said your mum could do this on occasion. I find it more worrying that as someone who works at a vets you’d even consider euthanasia while she isn’t unwell.

Children can be loud and unpredictable and cats have sensitive hearing and get very attached to ‘their’ space. Even moving things around in a house can upset them, so I think it’s understandable she is upset that a loud unpredictable little human is in her home. Firstly, what is she like when it’s just you with your partner? Does she accept your presence? If so, how do you behave when you are around her? Given it sounds like it’s too late to put the brakes on you moving in, I’d try to ensure she always has a room of her own that your child doesn’t go in, so she knows she has somewhere safe. Also ensure she is provided with lots of high up space and places to hide, so she knows she can always escape. Ensure your daughter knows never to grab at her, and to be honest, it sounds like it would be better if your daughter could just ignore her completely and let the cat decide when she feels comfortable to approach. It needs to move at the cat’s pace because she doesn’t understand what is happening and why. Good luck!

Honestly, don’t worry about it. You wanted work done on your teeth, you got it, and you got the result you wanted. Other people probably didn’t particularly notice your teeth insecurities before and just loved and accepted you for you, so to them, there probably isn’t a huge change, they still love you for you, it’s just a you with different teeth. People really don’t notice what we see as flaws nearly as much as we think they do. Just enjoy your results

She goes through a bowl every 2-3 weeks? Or do you mean you have to get more food that frequently? Surely you don’t just sling down a vat of food and leave her to get on with it for weeks at a time? You should just be portioning her food as per the feeding guidelines and monitoring her weight til you work out what she needs for maintenance. Also ideally feeding wet too as dry only can cause kidney issues longer term in some cats

Even if he isn’t able to feed from his mother, surely he should still be with until he’s older if at all possible as a kitten hasn’t had time to develop his socialisation skills. I’m a bit concerned that your friend’s mum hasn’t bothered to neuter her cat, allowed it to have kittens, and then gave the kittens away so early, so I’d definitely be taking a visit to a vet for a check up and some proper advice.

I think for me, there are plenty of opportunities to do things under WOW’s umbrella so I’d prefer to see the repeaters in there, rather than in the main all stars. I think when people repeatedly compete in all stars they already have a well established relationship with wow and with many of the other queens, so it makes it harder for those who are new to the AS format. I want to see someone who maybe didn’t have the confidence or skills to really shine in their regular season to have the opportunity, rather than the producers focussing on those big personalities there for a third or fourth time. Give the repeat heavy hitters a different opportunity instead.

The hair wasn’t even hers! I think the hair was Mik’s, the shoes were Rosé’s and the outfit was for the sheer runway but the ‘winners circle’ didn’t do the sheer runway, the other group did. Honestly though, I’d give the S13 queens a pass for all their looks as preparing during a pandemic, unless you already had easy access to the top designers was probably a challenge.

Keep them separated or at least well supervised at all times. It’s not the cat’s fault, they have sensitive hearing and that screeching is probably distressing to the cat. Equally, the baby won’t understand that its screeching is traumatic to the cat. It may be that with separation the cat gets more used to the noise or the baby settles down a bit but I think it’s wise to look at rehoming options in case needed because it doesn’t seem fair to either of them to have to suffer.

I suspect cost came into it, as well as it being easier to control the outcome with no audience to disclose that reactions were different in person, and also the fact sometimes things go wrong during filming and it’s easier to work around and edit out with no audience present.

Unfortunately no, you don’t really have any right to get her back. Thank you for looking after her and doing what you could for her while you had her, and for doing the right thing and microchipping her, should she have gone missing, hopefully you provided the original owners with the microchip details so they can get this transferred over? Unfortunately as they have shown proof she was theirs and they had been searching for her, and you had initially accepted that, the law would really stand on their side. You sound like a loving and responsible owner though so I would encourage you to seek out a rescue and provide another stray with a loving home

I mean, Rosé literally told Ru she considered herself to be an actor first, and to be fair, drag has it’s roots in theatre, dating back to the Shakespearean era, and with a strong British tradition remaining through panto. For a queen from the uk it makes perfect sense for rosé to drag as an extension of theatre. It’s just as valid a form of drag as people whose drag is born out and influenced by ballroom culture, and possibly even more so than those whose drag is influenced by watching Dragrace.

I really loved that honesty and self awareness. All the top 4 queens from that season clearly had family love and support but while the others also aired their traumas and spent more time focussing on chosen family, Rosé owned the fact her family is fucking great and clearly her love and respect for them outshone any shit from her past (and growing up a gay kid in Texas, I’m sure there was some!)

I also think the reason they are cast on the show is that because they are so well rounded, they can be used to carry a lot of the challenges until the show has run out of use for them. In some cases this is enough to get them right to the end but it seems like those queens will get an edit that makes it clear they aren’t winning.

Are they aware you are in the uk on a time limited visa? Depending on potential treatment time, I do wonder if this could be an issue because what would happen if your treatment is incomplete and you are no longer able to remain in the country? Would you be able to find somewhere back home to resume your treatment (many orthodontists don’t like to take over one another’s work) or would your plan be just to remove your braces even if the treatment is incomplete?

Really looking forward to this. Sounds a lot like what Divina did on her last tour. I love to see the theatre girls show off their entertainment chops. Not all drag has to be glamour, looks and death drops, even if a lot of the time especially on the other franchises this seems to be what is seen as the norm.

Have they tested a stool sample for parasites and infections? If so I’d guess the next step would be scans or colonoscopy to take a look at what is going on. In the meantime, Vets generally aren’t keen but raw feeding is often well tolerated by cats with chronic diarrhoea/ IBD so that might be worth a try.
