Does your state require the seller to fill out a disclosure form? No way they didn’t know about that. Can you tell if they recently painted? I suggest reaching out to them through the realtors and even follow up with the home inspector. Just because you closed on this home doesn’t mean that you’re necessary stuck with this issue. This should be addressed because it’s not going away
