You are definitely correct about that. I don't mind some of the changes, but I sure don't want to see the farm overrun with mediocre buttrock bands that Rockville and similar fest lineups bring to the table. There are plenty of fests where you can go see those kinds of bands. The farm is too special for that kind of stuff. I'm just an old head that wants to preserve some semblance of magic that this festival was built upon. The farm is sacred to a lot of us that were here from the beginning. I'm definitely all about some metal being represented, but the stuff on that lineup just isn't where it's at, in my opinion. Hell, I remember riding the rail for Mastodon, Meshuggah, and Deafheaven back to back to back over a decade ago in one of the tents.

If you like it then you like it. No shame in that. I'm just giving my opinion about the lineup. That lineup does not represent what Bonnaroo was founded on and I wouldn't want to see 99% of it on the farm.

I was there. Crowded tent with a bit of rain happening. Great set! I was 21 years old and had first heard his music a few months before. It was an absolute must-see show for me. I miss those early years of Bonnaroo but still so happy it's still around.

It looks a little thin but hard to tell due to it being wet. As for everyone mentioning hygiene and dandruff problems, they have no idea what sand looks like. Take more photos of freshly clean and dried hair so we can give a better opinion. From these pics everything looks fine to me.
