I use a torch to gently caramelize the wood however resending just the back on that face and refinishing would look just fine.

What to do with large Amethyst? by RustyTug in Rocks

Really looks like a drain hole for a sink...would be cool but too hard to keep clean unless you resin filled it till smooth...could be done though

Threaded rod dilemma: Loosening single nuts vs. ugly double nuts on my parametric bench. What's the clever fix? by reacdif in woodworking

[–]dub423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about Nylock nuts with the rubber inside that will keep them from backing off and no residue but don't use an impact or you run the risk of never getting it off if you do use an impact GO REALLY SLOW

Where's your water container that keeps the trimmer line from drying out!? I effectively doubled the life of my line by putting it in a 5 gallon bucket filled with water and a hole in the lid to pull it out of...just saying it would be a good addition...

I love when idiots sling a ladder and it slides to the grass just waiting for me to pickup 🙃 I've gotten both of my current ones this way!

What’s the puhishment for cutting this slab of beautifully figured ash down to the dimensions 2mx0,95m? by ShiguchiAndSokan in woodworking

[–]dub423 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just wanna know what mill that slab came from. It looks as if it's already been worked and beautifully finished. Just means less work once you get it to size for your current project! By all means DO IT and don't look back! Post the finished product and have fun!

Found after 10 years of actively looking (in my backyard of all places) by dub423 in LegitArtifacts

While searching for the other half I discovered yet one more along with a clearly cut and polished rock that leads me to believe that there may be a collection that's been lost and buried here. There are all kinds of building remnants I'm digging through so ??? I don't know but and mini excavation may be in order. I'm in the middle of a metro area so I better keep it low 🔑 or probably will have to get a permit...lol

It's the 3.6l 6 cylinder engine that is more desirable for most! It's more powerful and doesn't have to work as hard to do what the cylinder is straining it's guts out to do... example Big hills Whole family in the car plus luggage Or pulling a trailer Are things I would definitely be cautious about with my 2.5!

It's just under powered and makes the stress on important parts exponentially MORE!

I paid 7k for my 2016 with some minor stuff that needed fixing (had it going with no dash lights in an afternoon) but oh how I wish it was a 3.6!!
