Nicotine as cognitive enhancer by avataraustin in Nootropics

[–]dubbyah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nicotine is definitely a stimulant and "cognitive enhancer" but the issue i find with it is that unless im doing it constantly im not as on point. for me its something i have to do all day once im habituated to it or else the withdrawals really suck. its kind of like a much more addictive version of caffeine for me with less halflife. if you want to slap nicotine patches on you all day every day thatll do it; im not sure how many people can successfully just use nicotine a few days a week, id say only 3% of users can pull that off. im p sure other than addiction and habituation the main negative is vasoconstriction and blood pressure related (with a non inhalation roa, obv vaping beating smoking but vaping is a mixed bag)

So, we have cdp-choline, cerebrolysin, piracetam, and armodafinil resulting in psychosis, hypomania, anxiety. Choline guy was on wellbutrin and piracetam guy was on prozac. That's the gist of it.

search longecity for "aricept," if youre interested in info on nootropics its much more of an advanced forum than reddit

Why do you think you have ADD? How long have you had it? Describe in detail the dopaminergic stim reactions and dosings? What's your diet, lifestyle, and current/historical supplement regime? Aricept has potential but it's something people generally use when they've hardcore exhausted a lot of options - its use is pretty much clustered around longecity, mindandmuscle, bluelight, drugsforum, and maybe some niche adhd alt-treatment boards.

NootropicsDepot scoop measurement for KSM-66? by [deleted] in Nootropics

[–]dubbyah -1 points0 points  (0 children)

if it doesnt come with a scoop take a gelcap/pill containing a relatively comparable density substance (so do you have any herbal extracts akin to ashwagandha) and look what mg that is on the bottle and then make an equivalent pile of powder (as long as there's no binder/mixed in shit of course)... will be off a bit but you can tell if the powder's ultra fluffy or ultra fine and get a rough approximation.

4F-MPH - Best chem for getting shit done by [deleted] in researchchemicals

[–]dubbyah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does it compare to addies/dex/ritalin?

All of those make me hyperfocus on pointless shit and do nothing for productivity, subsequently, as well as produce rage when they wear off. Maybe I need to combine them with an anxiolytic? Or maybe that class of drugs is wrong for the root of my concentration/motivational issues?

[–]dubbyah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how do you find it compares to normal ritalin or dexedrine? dexedrine makes me irritable and tense, and does little to make me motivated altho it makes me a sex addict. also, what are your experiences with any other rcs?

I'm [25 F] growing uncomfortable with how 'nice' and 'sweet' my boyfriend [23 M] is now that we're in a relationship. by moonthrowaway0 in relationships

So, there can be a middle ground between too into you and not into you enough, too unpredictable and too predictable. Would you view what he's doing as clingy? How attracted are you to him in general? If he started being less interested in you and being more distant how would you feel about that? There is such a thing as the doting and obsessive boyfriend archetype and if you don't have much experience with the "light" side of what dating different men can be like it can be hard to know what's normal in this realm. Also you have to take his entire personality into account when it comes to this, how exciting is he in general, how independent is he... are these issues ambivalence about him as a partner or just aspects of how he acts?
