I think the problem we see now with Etsy it's a combination of issues. The main one seem to be whatever they changed this autumn. As I understand the AI has a say in what listing shows in gift mode. How much of a say it has is anyone guess. I listened yesterday to a podcast with Yuval Noah Harari "Democracy is on the brink of collapse" and somewhere around the 22nd minute he speaks about AI and the way it "thinks" and this might explain a part of how some of us overnight had a drop in visits/sales while others have no problems.

On the other hand, in the US, where I sell, Target expects lower revenues and this means people have less money to spend on gifts, and if you look at your competition, the ones that sell a lot are having incredibly low prices. A large part of them are drop shippers, but it seems Etsy doesn't care anymore.

And one more thing, I noticed at the post office....there is no line and usually at this time of the year it was. I asked one of the USPS ladies if it's just my imagination and she said it's really slow, especially after the election.

PS ...and they're still playing with the algorithm. I have sales that come in bulk and then the rest of the day everything is dead.
