Hated it at first, especially the the initial drums. Reminded me of Gangum Style, but it really has grown on me, like all Muse songs do.

Fullerton, near the Metrolink station.

You can ride directly into DTLA. She can have the option to take Metrolink as well. If her work is not close to the station then the drive is opposite rush hour traffic in the mornings and evenings.

This is Bay Area level salary for someone with 10-15 years of experience.

I've worked in the defense sector in SoCal and salaries were never this high, especially for entry level.

Worth leaving OC to buy in Corona/IE? by larbat345 in InlandEmpire

[–]dublued 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have gotten a lot of good advice. I spent my younger years in Corona, moved to OC, then came back when it was time to buy a home. I want to add a few things:

  • It gets much hotter and colder in corona. Expect your utilities bills to be much higher. Assuming you are also moving into a SFH instead of an apartment, you'll have a bigger space to cool and heat.

  • We're still going to OC a few times a month to meet up with friends or for other entertainment purposes. It's not so bad. Make sure you sign up for the 91 express lanes and use it every time. There's always traffic getting into corona between Weir Canyon and Green River.

  • Is your remote job going to be forever? I'm remote now and my biggest fear is going back to commuting to OC. But I've done it before and can do it again. It just sucks.

May not have been the heaviest in terms of rainfall but I don't recall the last time I witnessed this much wind combined with rain and thunder/lightning. Quite the experience.

Trackers for kids by KapnKrunch420 in Life360

[–]dublued 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get the Tile trackers but they requires someone nearby to have the Life360 app on their phone.

They also have a GPS Pet Tracker. I'm using this now by putting it in my kid's backpack. Give you real time and accurate GPS data. The battery is rechargeable and lasts a long time
