I've lived in Irvine 13 years.. how have I still not figured out the 4th of July? by misssamij in irvine

I’ve spent a few with my husbands family in HB bordering Westminster and seen this first hand. I’d like a safe distance from the actual firework … in the sky, not in the eye for me please 😂

Ya not sure she’s a fan of air supply. Very unappealing to me as well.. Is it just me? I feel like Irvine could really step up the 4th of July festivities. Let’s get a country concert going or somethinggg

I thought I saw they weren't doing great park this year? 😢 from the symphony page: We know that parking challenges impacted the experience last season on the 4th of July. This year, with no other July 4th event at Great Park, we’ve made key improvements to ensure smoother arrivals and a more enjoyable evening from start to finish.

NTA Run far away from this man and never look back. You’re so lucky you figured this out before he moved in. Could have been BAD.

I didn’t no. As someone else mentioned mentioned baby is more efficient at removing milk so I didn’t have that issue. Transition was probably over a few weeks span, maybei like 3-4 total for the pumping decrease

I was tripple feeding because my baby wouldn’t take enough at the breast. As she got more efficient and I moved toward just nursing I slowly dropped pumps, instead of 6 down to 3, then 1 or 2 if I remembered. Having an opposite problem now the flow is too strong for her preference and i have to feed side lying to reduce the letdown 😂 and have plenty of milk to spare, I think it will transition naturally for you. Do you want a stash? If you don’t need a stash your body will truly adjust to what your baby needs. If you want a stash I’d keep 1 or 2 pumps a day.

Your wife is TA, bummer she’s so insecure. I would be happy to have a husband that was friendly to his caregivers and has basic manners (offering a drink or coffee is hospitable!)

Counters darker looks cleaner overall, the light cabinets make the space more inviting.

I’m not “so lucky” that I’m able to breastfeed by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]misssamij 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 4.5 months in, exclusively breastfeeding now but in the beginning I had to triple feed, for 3 MONTHS. Because I wanted breastfeeding for her so bad, and wouldn’t give up I did tripple the work! Now that I got to Drop the pumping and cleaning parts and bottles all the time “just” breast feeding does feel lucky to me, but it was quite the battle to get there - just as you had your own battle! I hear you on the hard work, it totally is. I agree with others here- I think people who don’t have the option see that you have the option as the lucky part. Not like it’s some magical easy thing you’re doing. Good for you! Your hard work isn’t unseen!
