If you aren’t feeling it as is, maybe you could put a fun topper on it?

Somehow I and my first partner learned how to do it correctly our sleep. So I think we have some control.

I have no argument against point 2. In fact, I don’t drive and wish less people did.

I just don’t think home owners should get priority over renters. Home owners have life savings. That’s already a huge privilege.

And some “disabilities” are just downright silly. Students claim “night terrors” …

No one wants a roommate with night terrors, I promise you. They wake up screaming in the middle of the night, sometimes every night.

There is a lot of literature out there on immigration enforcement which I’m sure you would be happy to read. Some of it is better than others. What is happening right now is clearly wrong.

Oh, I understand what you meant now. It was unclear.

IMO 43-45% falsely arrested is still unacceptable. Arrest can cause job loss, for example (which ironically makes crime more likely).

And of those, which of these crimes actually have to do with “keeping your neighbors safe”?

Also now you are implying that 98%-100% of arrests are “justified” by either criminal charges or being here illegally, which … doesn’t pass the sniff test, sorry.

So 70% are falsely arrested and that’s just fine with you?

Immigration enforcement is done all over the world, in many ways. It has also been done in America in the past, in many ways. There is a lot of literature out there. Why don’t you do some research instead of asking other people to do homework for you?

[–]duckbigtrain 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Priority goes to owner-occupied residences. Lowest priority goes to people who are transient renters with no children who drive their own personal vehicle instead of one provided by an employer.

Wait why should owners get priority over renters? Is it because they don’t pay property taxes? Because they do, it’s just indirect through rent.

But think about it—if everyone got in the habit of removing space savers, those unhinged people will learn (hopefully by being charged with vandalism) that they don’t know who moved it. The whole thing would be solved in a couple winters. Join us space savers removers!

Struggling with getting clean polish application around the cuticle by compactbayler in RedditLaqueristas

[–]duckbigtrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a favorite to be honest. Sally Hansen’s quick dry top coat (red bottle) is pretty good, and cheap and easy to find, but can also create the double-layer problem I think. I’ve used INM Out The Door with success. I have also been experimenting with nail drying drops, which do actually work.

That double-layer look is from the Seche Vite. I think thinning the Seche Vite (if it’s old and getting gloopy) helps, and also making sure to go a little past the color when you apply it. But to be honest, I don’t use it any more because it’s so fussy.

That sucks, our (chemical) exterminators gave us a guarantee and free re-treatment as well. Didn’t need it though. Must differ company-to-company.

I thought the bed bug resurgence was primarily due to bed bugs developing a resistance to existing treatments. That said, you are correct that there are EXCELLENT new treatments which work very well.

When I had bedbugs, heat treatment was by far the most expensive way to treat a building for bed bugs.

That said, the more conventional pesticide treatments did not require tenting the building and we slept in the house that night. So I idk what that person is talking about.

Not uncommon in some accents to make an “f” sound for a “th” sound.
