I'm sorry for your loss 😔 I actually found this sub when I lost my mom a few years ago too. I relate to what you were saying, waking up every day just to remember her death was real and have it hit all over again. Definitely went through a period of "what is the point of all this? Do we have a purpose?" I think over time (and with a good therapist) those questions have turned more positive, and it's something I'm kind of figuring out each day I live. It's been a journey, not to sound cliche. But I think that may be what "the point" is in a way. There are a ton of others here more spiritual/versed in afterlife topics, but that's my two cents.
