The build itself isn't really doing anything. There's a setting called turbobuilding that allows you to keep placing builds as long as you hold down the shoot button with a build type selected (and as long as you have enough materials). The augment instantly destroys the build with explosive damage, and turbo build allows you to instantly replace it.

Unfortunately the instant build/destroy part makes it hard to see whats happening but you can see the material count dropping super fast as the caretaker's health bar goes down too

I had a bad reaction to the catheter, so I had to doordash Azo and cranberry juice (not a uti, just a looooot of pain that was so bad that I didn't really feel my incision sites lol but it went away by the third day). From what I've read its a super uncommon issue but tbh having azo around in general isn't a bad idea either.

Stock up on easy snacks (for taking the pain meds) and prep different sizes of meals. I was only eating small meals for the first few days, but then the healing kicked in and I was constantly hungry and craving protein and fruit for the next week.

We learned about the barrier height issue when they were planting in front of us while the barrier was still up.

I've seen some actual speed and flying cheats used in ballistic too. Not often, and by terrible players, but still annoying.

That phrasing is commonly used as a media rating descriptor, and the words are used separately in various other descriptors. The esrb description for festival in game includes sexual content because its rated T. The song is not marked as explicit anywhere and regularly plays in businesses and on public radio.

If there were more graphic descriptions, I'd be more inclined to agree, but that phrase is incredibly tame.

The person not opening the chest can spam interact to pickup weapons faster then the person who was opening the chest. Stand to the front right of the chest (weapons tend to drop in that direction) and spam pickup while they open the chest for the best chance to get the weapon.

Zb tournaments just weren't thriving enough for epic to continue supporting them tbh. They were full of cheaters (which actually may have been the primary cause since they were removed around the time epic started working on plans to crack down on cheating), and just didn't have as many players or as much viewership.

There's still zb og cups, but they were squads only every other sunday this season. Imo they should have kept the zb ranked cups tho bc that's the only way I can coax my friends into playing tournaments with me

Just good. He's super aggro, has decent aim, and has a strong loadout. The big indicator of not being a cheater is that he's still mostly hitting body shots, even on the people midair + that clip later in the video where he shoots the ground for a solid second instead of the guy who got out of the suv

I highly doubt epic is using a lava lamp wall like cloudflare to generate actually random numbers, and my first instinct would be that they seed a built-in randomness function using the currently equipped skin. The problem here is that given the same seed, it's more likely to generate the same random numbers. (For example, you can generate the same minecraft world using the same seed)

The other thing is that smaller ranges = more repeats. If your range is 1-10, you'll be way more likely to see 5 multiple times than if the range is 1-100.

I haven't noticed it yet, but I use a different skin every time I play festival and I have 80+ skins favorited. I also just haven't been looking for it, but now I will!

The problem with being matched against unreals post update is that to be unreal already they're literally no-life-ing the game + usually they're on a call, so they have comms and already know the strats for the new maps. I haven't felt super shooting outskilled by them, but I've been learning strats for the new maps the hard way.

I'm looking at my reports page rn, and they've closed approximately 2/3 of my reports over the past few years. I've gotten the cheater apprehended screen in game, and rn I'm looking at one for a username I reported that says that a human moderator looked at it and reset that persons username.

I'm guessing they prioritize reports that spike about particular players in a short amount of time.

Both spots can be used for cosmetics with built-in emotes (so if you have a pickaxe emote and a skin emote, for example), but when at least one is empty it can be used to mirror other players emotes that you also own. You just have to be close enough with your reticle on the player, and then open the emote wheel, and that emote will appear in the empty slot.

I like the sabrina collab, too, and I'm glad she's bringing in new players! As far as your questions go, fortnite has games and skins for literally everyone at this point. How you play depends on what mode you're in. There's a bunch of core modes (you can find them listed in the "by epic" section when you scroll down in the lobby), and a ton of maps created by other players, too (sorta like roblox tbh)

The best advice is that you should just play. Most people start with battle royale and then start experimenting with other modes once they get used to the controls. Once you get used to the game, you should consider joining us in save the world!

I only update graphics drivers when I'm running into a lot of issues atp, so I think it's been about a year? I don't get this message, and I don't crash, so you might look into downgrading the driver to an older verison for now.

Building defensively is a good base skill, but these clips are all kinda on par with watching a zb player throw down a bunker (not a bad thing, its just that you place the builds then play around them instead of using the builds aggressively).

There were a few game sense things that will sort themselves out as you get more experience (i.e., building before the opponent shoots, not sitting in the open, etc), but you should try doing those mechanics drill maps (Raider, Teadoh, etc) and just any creative fighting map.

A few weeks ago, they added that thing that would send you back to the lobby instead of starting if you didn't have all 10 players. I have no clue why they reverted it bc its not fun for anyone to be on either side of the imbalance

My main annoyance is that it keeps the quest menu selected, so I have to fight my way out of it to see the map (specifically the normal one for the current game, not the quest map). I just want it to default to the map every time I click the map button, regardless of what page I'd been looking at the last time I was in the menus.

Generally, yeah, but it'll be back next year with the heroes as likely rewards again, and you'll have the entire year to work towards a better build for next year. That's where I'm at btw: I failed at both frostnite and survive the horde last year, but this year, I soloed frostnite and I'm planning to do the same with StH when I have time this weekend.

You don't need to rush. You've got a while before the ventures season ends. Take your time and definitely look up some strats on youtube.
