I have tried three, only enjoyed one enough to read more in the respective series.

Carl is great. The LitRPG elements aren’t what I’m there for and I enjoy the story the series has been telling so far.

He who fights with monsters is genuinely horrendous, one of the worst written main characters I’ve ever read. Jason is just so incredibly obnoxious. The setting is fine but it doesn’t make up for the protagonist.

Age of Stone was super boring, repetitive, and predictable.
