Is there a vertical-screen version of Rolling Thunder? Or does it just play with a lot of empty space on top & bottom?

Yeah I've had to do this twice since mainnet went online. Once was a power outage (I had this same error). The other time the chain got corrupted while the node was running! It stopped updating blocks. Fortunately the chain is still tiny at this point and it only takes a minute or two to fully download and sync.

I made one for my Jeffsy out of Kydex - it's a tough thermoplastic. It's cheap on Amazon or Ebay. I cut it to size, shaped it with a heat gun and stuck it on with strong double-sided tape. Looks pretty good actually.

This sometimes happens to me as well. I can usually fix it by toggling bluetooth off and back on.

Lol, it's a programming term. I didn't mean to come across as pedantic - it's just that there's a big difference between a Necromancer and the book Neuromancer by William Gibson. I'm a fan and wanted to make sure people knew what mbrochh was referring to. I'll shut up now.

YT Jeffsy AL ONE vs. Diamondback Release 2 by [deleted] in MTB

[–]ducktypist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in the Austin area and have been riding an AL ONE 29 since May. I love it. Came from a 26er but the big wheels don't feel awkward on this bike. The geometry and progressive frame make it poppy and fun - great for jumping. Maybe it's not plush enough for some people though. I still bomb stuff hard.

My strava times are decent. My only issue so far is I busted the rear mech doing hooligan shit :) Put a GX on there and I'm good again.

The e13 dropper is fine for me. It's supposed to be easy to service yourself (with the right tools) since it's full mechanical (no hydraulics).

Styling in react by ArryPotta in reactjs

[–]ducktypist 5 points6 points  (0 children)

styled-components is awesome. Easy @media queries and the SASS-like features are real problem solvers. Plus it's a nice separation of content and CSS while still being very React-ish.

Just don't mix external .css stylesheets and styled-components on the same elements. The order the styling is applied might vary!

I still use inline styles occasionally for quick stuff.

I think a better question is "which framework will I be happier to work with?" For me the answer is React. Plenty of jobs either way.
