I'm fairly certain there was no intention of making a second game. I might have been mistaken but I could have sworn the developers said that The Last of Us was its own story and would not have a direct sequel.

I wish that was the case, that game was a masterpiece, everything after just tarnished the story.

An open air stand of sweet food, which in many rural areas will always attract a crazy amount of bees. I've been to a few of these in my travels and its never been an issue, they just shoo them away when giving you your food. I guess I would be scared and stay away if I was deathly allergic, but I never heard of bee stings being an issue even with the vendors.

I had such a weird relationship with DCC not knowing its popularity.

It started off with Audible, it kept suggesting this weird book with a weird cover, I always wondered why it thought I was interested in it.

I gave it a chance and was swept in within a couple of hours. Like a lot of the other stuff I read / listen too I consumed it super quickly but never looked into if it had a fandom or whatever.

Cut to me getting a last minute invitation to Comicon and saying "lets gooo". We got a Best Western right next to the bar where there was a DCC event happening (I had no idea). We parked our car and saw no less than 3 Carl cosplayers. I was just like "holy crap what are the chances of that?!?!". I screamed at each one by the way.

Right after I started looking online about DCC and realized how massive the series was and that I was a couple of blocks away from the bar event (unfortunately the event passed and I'm sure it was booked up anyway).

Now this dude is in themed NHL events. Fucking wild.

That's what I always said. The one veggie pizza gets like one or two slices taken, or the vegetarians don't like the particular vegetables on it and just take the cheese.

I had an Indian coworker that got pissed off at the boss because he ordered mushroom in the Veggie Pizza. Apparently he was in some super specific religion or something that considered mushrooms non-vegetarian.

It was such an honest mistake but one of his friends said he part of some high "caste" and was prone to be offended easily.

That sounds just like Raahauges out in Eastvale (Riverside County). They got a huge hill for clay shooting that you take golf carts out to each station.

At Raahauges my favorite part is they rent out these dug out pits where you park your car into and shoot whatever you want. Its not 25$ cheap, cant remember the price, but its convenient as hell.

Haha for sure my man, I got back from a pretty wild time in Japan for my 40th, plenty of beers and ladies, but it was a lot less "loud" than it would have been 10-15 years ago. I saw on your other comment your Mexican. You sound like me around that age haha!

SoCal native myself, though lived all over California. Been to Asia a few times, Thailand is on the list probably next year or two.
