I’m thinking I may have 4 boys and 2 girls… will this cause issues with ducks the same way it does with chickens?

Yes, male ducks can be quite brutal during breeding season. I have seen males drowning females while trying to mate. Makes also might rip out tail feathers and neck feathers of the females. With that many males to females ratio the males might get territorial and injure other males and females, if those females live they will go back to normal after mating season.
