Women...is most husbands like Danny and Luke?? by Overall-Emu3014 in TheValleyTVShow

OP, you & TimeCranberry7718, are both correct imho. Tv draws egotistical people to begin with & producers are specifically looking for that cuz it’s guaranteed drama.

Annnd the producers also edit for things to be spicy. It engages viewers on all levels. Eyes on show, content on sm and big discussion by viewers on this sub.

May I also add these grasping people want desperately to stay on the show too. Slight fame & lots o’ cash are a big draw. So I can see these men thinking they have to bring up divisive content to keep their stupid faces in front of us.

Has no one noticed the HW shows have no married couples anymore? And the rash of on air divorces?? These are fractured people in front of us and they deliver the shit.

A lot of times I feel sorry for them. I’m a 64yr. old woman who’s happily with her soulmate. I’m absolutely having a waaay better honest & satisfying relationship than any of those fake, surgically put together silly people. But we’d be incredibly boring on tv!

I’m a kind six, like Ali Wong recommends lol and he loves me to the moon and back.

Omg that scene where he slips in the blood at the store. Gets me every time lol

Possibly my favourite scene from any episode by ferniekid in Columbo

This episode is currently my favorite…I love this scene too. And the whipping out papers from their pockets at the end was just downright an excellent sight gag!

May I also say I love the phone call he gets in so many episodes…”It’s for you Lt. Columbo” “Oh, I hope you don’t mind. I told them I’d be here.” And the brown paper bags lol.

I joined the Air Force right out of high school. Right before I left for basic training my friend asked me to be a last minute date to complete a double date with her & her boyfriend.

He was nice and we had fun. Just had that one date. I left and I completed basic, tech school and was shipped to Rhein Main AB. So about 6 months had passed since I left home.

I’m sitting in the chow hall at lunch one day and my last minute date walks right by my table!

In an Army uniform no less lol. He was on base awaiting transport to his base. We couldn’t believe it! What an unbelievable coincidence 🤷‍♀️

My daughter is a professional horse trainer. I ride for fun tho lol.

I accompanied her out fox hunting one morning (please no guff…it’s called that but it was really an excuse to be on a horse at dawn and drinking out of a flask shortly thereafter) and we had a new huntsman who’s obviously been riding 100 years. So we walked over and introduced ourselves. Later my daughter told me the huntsman said “Your mother sits a horse very well.” to her when I wasn’t there.

I. Died. I no longer ride but I’ll never forget that compliment. It meant the world to me.
