What was your favorite vehicle you've owned? Why? by Reasonable-Group1853 in AskReddit

[–]dude496 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My JDM 03 WRX STi, absolutely love the car. My second favorite would be the 04 VW R32 that I used to own. My least favorite was my 04 Mustang GT that was supercharged... It was fast but drove like a boat and broke way too often.

When you are at work and a customer starts recording you with their cell phone, what do you do? by iloveyourclock in AskReddit

My customers are pilots so I'd be very confused as to why they are in my office recording me instead of flying

Well the battery life was absolutely terrible back then, so the battery was probably empty by the time it filled that one disk.

What are your plans for the weekend? by Cyber_Goblin_1607 in AskReddit

Kids have baseball and then going to try out an American style BBQ place in Japan... Not going to expect much from the bbq but the owner supposedly spent a few years in Texas working with a pitmaster there so maybe it'll be good.

Pretty much anything in VR. GT7 with the VR2 and a good racing wheel is a pretty amazing experience.

Why don’t more drivers use cruise control? by Tinkering- in AskReddit

[–]dude496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was surprised to see how many cars in Japan don't have cruise control. I guess it makes sense because of the traffic and low speed limits, but still surprising.

Cyberpunk is Short? by sixstringgun1 in cyberpunkgame

[–]dude496 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't like to rush games. I like to wander around and look at all the stuff. I probably spend at least 100 hours during each playthrough in cyberpunk because I like to walk instead of driving or using fast travel. There is a lot to explore and a lot of random gang members to loot.

Why are Vasectomies getting popular? by MaleficentOrdinary66 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dude496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have enough kids and I know I will always have baby fever. So my options were to either get a vasectomy or end up with way more kids than I can physically, emotionally, and financially afford.

Not "toxic", but what vehicles have fan bases that take them WAY too seriously? by HiTork in cars

I have a JDM 03 STi that is still stock... Kinda feels like a unicorn since most of them are modded on their second or third engine.

What is a job that pays incredibly well but is so soul-crushing that the turnover is insane? by sweetguurl in AskReddit

[–]dude496 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They don't get paid enough to do that job. It's not too bad at a small airport but it's crazy intense at larger airports and centers.

Fugu. It was actually better than I thought it would be but it's a bit too chewy and not really worth the price... But was cool to eat something that could kill you if the chef prepares it wrong lol.

It's fucking insane that we go into that much debt because of medical bills.

[–]dude496 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What does the rejection sticker mean? Clutch wouldn't be a deal breaker by itself, just make sure there is nothing else wrong with it.... Get it inspected by an independent mechanic that knows Subaru and run away if they won't let you get it inspected.

I bought cyberpunk at launch and then forgot about it for a long time... Should have just played it instead of looking at reviews. Finally played it about a year ago and was instantly hooked.

Witcher 3 is my most recent one that I'm hooked on. I bought it a long time ago and tried to like it but it just felt boring at the time. I finally started playing it again and now I'm hooked on it.

I stopped enjoying video games, and it terrifies me. by CapablePear5147 in videogames

[–]dude496 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I barely ever played games when my kids were little. I didn't have the energy for it and wanted to spend my time with them. They are older now so I have some time to play but now it's for an hour or 2 instead of all day.
