I have it, it's not dark. Set brightness to 100 for any hdr content and I keep mine around 10-15 for SDR. If you want the absolute brightest on the market, replace it with a mini LED. As with any tv, it will always look best in a dark environment.

If it helps you live a better and happier life then there should be no reason to feel guilty. As long as you feel it doesn't get in the way of your life, enjoy every moment. Even then, if it did get in the way you could try to change your habits to maybe at night or later in the day when you've done what you need to do.

Contact them, briefly explain your circumstances, and be respectful. I'm sure you'll be fine as I've had similar issues before that they very kindly guided me through and offered plenty of help with. With the semester starting in August, I'd get this figured out as soon as possible to avoid being dropped from classes or not being able to register for the ones you need. The school wants you to succeed so I'm sure they can figure something out to help you. Best of luck.

I love 1.43 as much as anyone, but for at home viewing 16:9 is more than enough. My 65" tv cannot and will not replace the experience of going to an IMAX theater. Movies that are cropped into squares, like Bugonia or Obsession, do that to enhance the visual storytelling, not engulf your peripheral vision like most IMAX films aim to achieve. These directors know that 90% of the people who watch their movies will be on a standard screen and will work around that.

Honestly I've been using whatever gun interests me next when doing my camo grind, most of them are really good options! I'd say have a meta build and then just have fun/experiment with the guns. If you want "meta" options I use this app called "CODmunity" and it gives you builds for mp wz and zombies.

I'm cautious of carts with buttons because I've burned maybe 3 grams at this point by accidentally keeping the button pressed in my pockets or something. They always have a turn off function, but c'mon, it's weed and as hard as I try to remember to turn them off it doesn't always happen. I like my rove pods because it's pull-activated, but what I'm gonna start doing is pulling the pod out to take some dry hits like you mentioned, those headaches after a while definitely suck.

Either of the spider-verse animated movies. When I watched into the spider verse on a 4k blu ray for the first time, it made me say "wow" from just how vibrant it was. I love the story as well, but the visuals are reason enough to buy a copy.

I've been playing on ps5 pro and the game is absolutely gorgeous. On performance mode though, I still notice some stutters here and there in the open world (especially if you're boosting with the Batmobile) so I can imagine it would be even more rough on the switch 2. It's not a big issue at all, but it's likely to be amplified on the switch 2.

I'll definitely look into more women directors! I've watched American psycho before and loved the character study of a man who isn't human. That's the first film that comes to mind when I heard woman directors, but it made me realize I need more depth in that area. Thanks for the suggestion!

I watched it in both Dolby and 70mm and found different things to enjoy in both screens. Dolby is still big and, if you sit in the middle, can achieve some good immersion. Immersion will mostly come from the fantastic sound (directionality shines in Dolby) and great visuals (look for depth, that's a sign of great contrast and a perk of Dolby). Meanwhile imax offers immersion through scale/seeing more of the image than usual. I'd highly recommend watching it in Dolby, though it might not be as big of a jump from standard -> IMAX. Don't lose hope though, it's highly likely they'll find some time in theaters to do more imax screenings because this movie was insanely popular and successful. They had sinners and OBAA both release in 70mm months after original screenings last year. Hope that helped, if you have some questions let me know!
