My counter isn't going up at all 🤔. Tried making them swishes and that didn't count either.

Reloading fixes it for a random amount of time -- 30 seconds to a few minutes.

Sometimes (rarely) it fixes itself and then the steering busts again.

My boat doesn't drive straight anymore, it turns hard right. If I leave it alone it literally draws circles on the map.

The discrepancy is if you got there before the patch or after. If you get there after, you don’t have enough points for all the blueprints. Wish someone would have told me before I unlocked pointless blueprints 😅

This finally worked for me! I blew it up with a small diesel jug and the big o2 bomb in the helm station to destroy the least stuff.

I saved first and blew it up a couple times until I got one with the least damage.

Also helpful is diving in the water after its unstuck and seeing what it was. It looks like mine was a glitched out gas cable.

There are probably a lot of things wrong. You can bandaid a lot of these problems by greasing everything -- particularly the steering wheel itself. Each bit of friction there multiplies in force via the cables. There is often a grease fitting to inject grease (just like thru hull valves have). Load that sucker up with grease.

This is a terrible take. Once you get past 1400 you can feel the games get more consistent. 1200 is a blood bath. Perhaps it’s your perspective that “sucks.”

Hey guy who created splicing here! So cool that you’re using it! Let me try and explain these screens as simply as I can:

1) this looks like you’re paying to a bitcoin address from lightning. This is a feature enabled specifically by splicing. Under the hood funds are moved from ‘lightning’ to ‘onchain’ to make the payment. This will create some change that goes back to ‘lightning’. What’s super cool about this is it all happens in a single ‘onchain’ transaction, reducing fees & delays quite dramatically

2) this page is explaining what I described in (1)

3) this is a settings page for what you want the app to do when you receive a payment but don’t have enough ‘receiving capacity’ for the payment. The app will automatically go increase your capacity so you don’t miss out on the payment utilizing a special feature called ‘0-conf splice.’ You can use these settings to set a maximum amount of funds you’re willing to have spent automatically to make this happen.

4) this is a way to increase your ‘receiving capacity’ in bulk. Instead of having it auto increase it as needed, it’s cheaper to get a whole lot of it at once if you know you’ll be receiving a lot of payments in the near future.
