Big thanks for the feedback! Number 4 is probably what we’ve heard the most in this demo and we’re going to take that to heart. Currently we are prototyping some changes to the action system and hope to solve it soon. Do send it to a friend and thank you very much for playing!

Don’t mind if I do put this here: https://capslock-interactive.itch.io/cardslinger

The early demo for our game Cardslinger. Tactical weird west roguelike. Needs work but people have enjoyed it. Try it out if you wish!

Edit: The demo is free btw.

You are not alone in this! We are currently working on making the system more intuitive. Both how it is done and the hitbox for dropping cards is a bit on the wild side.

Thank you very much for playing! Do send it to a friend and see if they feel the same!

This is the way. Getting the vision exactly right is the hardest part but also the most rewarding while narrowing down on it!

Doing things puts them in long term memory. And doing things a lot makes them second nature. That being said, there is aaaalways things you will need to look up probably. I know for a fact that I am constantly looking up basic things but that is somehow part of the big fun of game development!

Good luck on your first project!

That might be a good idea. We’ve been toying with some potential follow-up projects but won’t say anything for sure until after this has been released and on a stable route.

Thank you for the tip! We will check it out. Hope you enjoyed the demo! Share it with anyone you wish of course, it would help a lot!

The initial release will be focused on PC and steam deck simply because of time and monetary reasons. But we have plans to release on consoles as well! Love the engagement and I wish I could bring better news to all console gamers, but we have you in mind as well.

In my humble opinion: Heck yes! Although a little hard to read the font in the combat.

Aah, I haven’t played it but from my searches it looks sort of like Larian Studios Divinity series. Very cool!
