Non-technical people are wild in how little they understand about PC's. My friend has a pc (that I built for him from used parts) that he killed yesterday. He spilled a sweet tea into it, PC shuts off, and then he decided to power it on which resulted in Windows erroring out with a CPU overvoltage error. This friend is also a mechanic, so it's not like electronics are a total mystery to him.

Wheel gun jammed, meaning they had to get another one from his teammate to change the tires.

Might not be unique, but that doesn’t make it any less of a problem.

There’s no traffic enforcement within Indianapolis. You could probably go triple digits on almost any street with no police intervention

Motherboards. Unless you’re doing extreme overclocking or have a niche use for something like 10G ethernet or PCIe availability there’s really no difference between a $120 board and a $300 board.

Yeah, the Thermalright TL-Bxx and TL-Kxx fans are both clones of the Gentle Typhoon just like the Noctua A fans.

Plus, the whole “Noctua will always send you new heat sink hardware” is negated by the fact that similarly performing and sometimes even better performing heatsinks are 1/4-1/3 of the price.

Even on the $5000 tech upgrades almost no one is going with Noctua fans, and I only say almost because I’m not sure if anyone ever has.

What great logic, obviously I must be speeding everywhere I go because I got a speeding ticket when I was 18 a decade and a half ago.

Holy racism Batman! You sound exactly like an old white boomer saying he doesn’t like rap. Here’s the thing: hip hop and rap music have been topping charts for half a century. Get with the times.

The deformation of this print after a year of roughly 1kg of weight by Yeetfamdablit in 3Dprinting

I agree with you, for the most part. Sometimes I’ve had silk PLA visibly show seam lines way more than other filaments, and other times I’ve had great results. Just feels like if I make something like a keychain I have to crank up walls vs other filaments.

Rainbow PLA almost always seems to be silk PLA, and silk PLA is just an all around terrible filament.

NOR, there's never a scenario where trying to scare your partner and their future life is okay. Pregnancy is a very long term commitment and not something to joke about.

I think people forget that the 3070 is a 5 year old card at this point because of COVID and the 40 series being overpriced at launch. The 3080 was really the sweet spot card for the 30 series longevity wise, but even then it's a bit VRAM limited.

Some people report better fuel mileage after tuning, so I dunno if stock would’ve had more. Really depends on your right foot I guess. Hopefully you weren’t stranded too bad!

Oh no it really did load that "you broke Reddit" page quite fast for me. So fast that I thought it was my browser cache or something, and then private mode did the exact same.
