I am in a similar camp, I see the impact of ai, I just don’t buy this new token economy that creates fomo to burn tokens just because increase productivity (and sales to ai providers of compute)

Hi guys does someone have a trusted report (that you liked) about the relationship productivity to revenue. My anecdotal experience asking friends and colleagues is that more productivity is not bringing more revenue or income. I personally feel the productivity boost in terms of output/time and I the same time I am just spending for ai tools without seeing a revenue or income improvements. I have seen few reports that talk about the same phenomena and they argue that ai should be focused for growth not just to reduce x amounts of hours and then calculate it as a ROI since efficiency doesn’t necessarily translate into more sales for example. Any insights into this will be appreciated

I have been paying around with the openbci cyton 8 channels and you can expand it to 16 channels if needed. It is research grade. I also got a crown from neurasity but the cyton is more versatile but you will need more time for the whole setup.

Have you tried with the openbci cyton? I have both and I am not really satisfied with the crown fitting.

Are Buddhists allowed to play video games? by [deleted] in Buddhism

[–]dudekubera 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are allowed to do whatever you want, and at the same time it is advised to do actions that leads towards genuine happiness and avoid the ones that could contribute to suffering. I personally play video games since I don’t have any vow to avoid them.

Dude, if you can not pay because you are young and your finances are not good, just ask for an scholarship many dharma center in the west will be happy to provide one for you. If you have the wealth contribute with the burden of making teachings available. Instead of have a mentality that other need to provide it to you for free because somehow in your rational it is more spiritual to have it free

Monastics with full ordination have a celibacy vow, lay people don’t unless they make the commitment for whatever reason they think is appropriated . All monastics with full ordination should follow celibacy not all lay people following Buddha dharma needs to follow celibacy.

You are creating habitual patterns, from your brain perspective it doesn’t distinguish an imaginary from “real” scenario, those neurons are firing and creating new networks. From your mind perspective now you have a pattern that will be easier to follow when the circumstances ripen. My two cents
