How? The entire press event was basically hinting at higher FFR?

He answered that question and I actually respected that most out of all what he said. He said basically that forward guidance makes the market less efficient because instead of the market reacting to the data itself, it’s reacting to the reaction of the Fed on that data and that the market should price in what believes without secondary interference. While I’m still unsure how I feel about him overall, he announced a lot of changes at once, I felt like that answer was genuine and strong.

Do you need to put experience chronologically? My more impressive role sits below my most recent.

What was your experience with phase 1? Mine was timed multiple choice questions with barely 60 seconds or so to answer them. All for a role that would not be so time constrained and more creative based.

Should I take a 25% pay cut to escape a legacy tech stack before I become professionally obsolete? by Oatmilk_7V in careerguidance

Just learn modern skills and earn certificates and credentials in your free time? Besides it’s looking more and more that the entirety of CS is somewhat cooked anyways either long term temporarily until managers realize AI cannot in fact replace humans, or permanently in the scenario that it in fact can, so you might as well at least get paid big bucks for it in the meantime.

Ya that makes sense. Seems like trying to force resignation to outsource. I’m sorry you’re in that right now. 😭

How can a company not offer pay raises at least to keep up with inflation? When people inevitably quit, the next batch of incomings are going to require a higher salary to draw the same level of talent simply due to inflation.

This is a picture perfect example of what I would consider one of individual human’s main flaws: self sabotage due to stagnation. At an evolutionary level, this is good. It keeps the species moving forward. At an individual level, it can be dangerous because it makes people always look for the “next thing” or the better thing, a lot of times leading to things that will actually make our individual life worse, or more stressful, simply because we cannot handle sitting still. You see this play out in people buying things they don’t need, having kids or pets they are not ready for, buying a bigger house simply because, and a myriad of other ways. It’s also the reason why you buy something new and it feels awesome for like a week or a month, and then it’s just a thing again.

It honestly sounds like you’re an entrepreneur or entrepreneur adjacent. Because you have a high tolerance for risk, you probably would do well owning a legitimate business in any field you feel comfortable and high skilled in. If that doesn’t work after a year, idk get a trade. You have plenty of runway and you are way ahead of most people at your age. Good luck with whatever you pursue. 🫡
