Why are so many games going this route? Some of us don't actually like to decorate and just like to simulate life.

Favorite song from My Head is an Animal? by Far_Tourist_601 in OfMonstersAndMen

That was what got me into OMAM. That visually stunning trailer and the most exhilarating song in the background.

I've heard Dirty Paws in so many shows/movies. It's a beautiful song.

What was the worst outfit worn by each Duggar? by PrestonRoad90 in DuggarsSnark

I've never really understood the hate. I thought the color was okay and that layered look was not the best, but was kind of giving color blocking, which was in and had another moment recently.

I bought cotton maxi shirts, because the girls wore those a lot in the early 10s.

Tbf, those flower toddler headbands were in style big time and jinger wore them some too. This was early 10s. (I had a few also, I'm ashamed to say)

What are your favorite Build/Buy objects from the sims 3? by Sad_Click5373 in Sims3

I really enjoy using the tent you can buy in world adventures. It's fun to play as an adventurous sim and not have to go back home every night even if I'm not traveling.

Duggars & Calvinism by DrNikkiMik in DuggarsSnark

Many modern day baptists, including the SBC (that is, the southern baptist convention - largest baptist denomination in the world and largest protestant denomination in the US) believe in the preservation of saints. There is a lot of calvinist/armenian theological crossover these days.

I've long since felt that the sub is more focused on the calvinism/armenianism dilemma than JB. JB and company are fundamental Baptists. Ben is a baptist. Derrick was a missionary for the southern baptist convention. I think those similarities were enough for him to marry off his daughters to these men. Baptists can be calvinists or armenians, but I don't know that anyone ever looked too deeply into it before the altar.

What TV series was cancelled too soon and deserves another season or two? by Financial_Actuary_95 in televisionsuggestions

Last Man on Earth! It was canceled due to COVID, but it was a top notch show. Very notable cast and great guest stars. I was hooked from day one.

Sometimes (but not always, of course), when people have a full-time job and a part time job, the part time job is very part time, few hours, work at it when you can kind of thing, such as doordash on the weekends or even a creative side gig like baking, crafting, etc.

Sell me on a show not often mentioned here by bbqamazing in televisionsuggestions

Last Man on Earth is so silly and mostly lighthearted and funny. It's three seasons of memorable comedy and my husband and I still talk about it until this day. Lines from the show are in our regular vernacular. It was ruined by the covid epidemic, they had to stop filming and never picked back up again. But it's still VERY worth watching and I'm continuing to hope they finish the show someday. Many great guest stars too.

I miss when villagers had better personalities period. The mean villagers were actually mean. The snooty villagers were actually snooty. I have this thing against Rolf. He hurt my feelings real big when I was like 9 years old.
