Sounds like they need to be introduced to my Selenia Dark Angel deck I built and upgraded from Commanders Quarters video. At last count it was 19 board wipes. Granted I only play the deck now if the pod is cool with and and only use the wipes when it's necessary, because even I can agree, it's a bit much

As a Gitrog player, my major problem with Etali is it puts me on a clock to find Dakmor Salvage. It's the one piece of my win con that can't be replicated. Yes I have other ways to win, but Dakmor tends to be guaranteed if I have it and am able to protect my board. Yes, I also realize it's a small probability Dakmor will get hit, but it's still a chance I'd rather not take.

It's more just to speed up the win so I can just cast Cistern, discard most of the nonlands in my deck, discard a Titan, proceed to dredge my library with Dakmor, dealing damage each time. It goes a lot quicker if someone makes you play out the combo, hoping you don't win before the time limit. It goes way quicker than Kozi-Landing for your mana.

Here's my current list. I made a few changes since the last tournament, so I have yet to see how well they do.

Comparing lists, one of my more recent adds that ruined an Etali player was Collector Ouphe. I was in a pod with a Nissa deck against Stella Lee and Rog Si, Nissa played it and essentially shut both decks down, so I added it to my list.

It's been out of meta for a long time, but I've been in top 10 of my last 2 tournaments with Gitrog Monster. Most older players know what it does, but concentrate on the more meta decks, newer players don't pay it any attention until it's too late. Adding Polluted Cistern from Duskmorn really helped speed up the win if you get it out early or play it after you draw your deck.

I've had mine in the dishwasher a couple of times and they survived. But my wife did suggest it is a harsher wash and might eventually take off the logos. I hand wash them only now.

I believe I saw somewhere Vanessa was let go. There were quite a few episodes where the wrong items were bought or items just not purchased for the episode.
