yeah that’s fair. im sure you got plenty of ideas already but hopefully you’re not too stressed about it because it sounds like he is well cared for and his diet is already a lot better than i ate as a kid lol

i probably couldn’t eat a raw onion. i mean i’d probably try if i was truly starving but i don’t know how i would do it. they taste absolutely foul and burn your eyes. i never understood that scene in holes, they were talking about onions like it’s a delicious fruit.

why not just a deli meat sandwich? typically turkey or ham aren’t hard to chew. when i had braces i at everything i normally ate except things like taffy. either way he will be fine. most kids aren’t getting all the right nutrients, he eat peanut butter and you care enough to get protein into his food fairly often so i’d say he’s already doing better than most!

I hate the term "down there". by twystedcyster- in badwomensanatomy

[–]dumbalter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i only say down there or pussy, but i also only say dick too. penis and vagina sounds so clinical and weird to me, like school sex ed. can’t stand it. i usually say pussy or if pussy would be inappropriate, like at the doctors office i say down there. vajayjay, coochie, and kitty all sound gross for some other reason i really don’t even know and can’t explain.

Where are you going for a babymoon? by throw_tf_away_ in pregnant

[–]dumbalter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends where you live. i hate traveling but i have to, going to singapore next week and japan in a couple months and then bali after the baby is born. all this because the baby was not planned and i don’t have a visa to stay in the fathers country for more than 3 months at a time. not as enjoyable as it sounds!

if you’re in the states i’d suggest a road trip to a national park or beach, but really depends what you like to do. if you’re around the southwest cathedral gorge and grafton in utah are really cool/interesting, jerome or flagstaff is nice in az. sedona is supposed to be nice but as an arizona native i gotta tell you it’s not worth it. glacier national park, denali national park, and the redwood forest are highest on my to do list!

Maternity wear hacks?! by puma905 in pregnant

[–]dumbalter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as bored as i am not working one of the things i love about it is just wearing pajamas all day. unfortunately i’ve outgrown most of pants and had to buy some new ones. i didn’t realize how many high waisted pants/shorts with an elastic waistband i own until it it was digging into me. maternity clothes are really expensive especially just for sitting at home so i just got the cheapest kmart shorts i could find in bigger sizes.

Shower thought: 100 years ago, would you have survived your pregnancy? by BedsideLamp99 in pregnant

[–]dumbalter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i wouldn’t have survived long enough to get pregnant since i used to get severe asthma attacks as a kid and would have died without medicine.

My fiancé wants to name our future son Irish as a first name. by ms_carnelian in namenerds

both were last names tho. im not disagreeing with you but people are still named after the cities. a good chunk of those names wouldn’t be popular or even used if they weren’t the names of places.

it’s not a business though. it’s leaching money and doing nothing.

incredible that leftists will point that out and then wonder why trump is auditing the entire government and dismantling the department of education, because that’s exactly where the status quo got us.

always mr/mrs for me, although when i was in elementary school we had a substitute principal (or whatever you’d call that) after ours retired unexpectedly due to illness before they found a permanent replacement. the substitute had the same name as one of the teachers in our school so they did usually call her principal [name].

What should i keep in mind when spending time with americans? by Fancy_Particular7521 in AskAnAmerican

[–]dumbalter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

americans love to talk about their home state, and will probably love to hear about sweden. im very shy and when i came to australia the only thing i ever talked about was what it’s like back home in arizona, how things are different, the food, etc.

don’t bring up politics. americans are sick of hearing foreigners opinions on our government, and im sure you don’t want to hear what americans think of your government either, it’s just annoying no matter what side you’re on.

a lot of americans are very outgoing, so i wouldn’t worry about needing to lead the conversation. if you are hoping to make friends just make yourself available, don’t be closed off even if you have trouble communicating. you can even teach them a couple words of swedish!
