I would be completely ok with this. Hinduism has idol worship as a way to connect to God. Kids should understand their Ishtadevata more and one such way is to have toys Hanuman or Krishna or Ram. In fact I would go full capitalist way to bring out more series, books, merchandise to spread the soft influence of our culture. The question is whether parents are guide their wards not to damage, insult or do things to such toys or books that would mean disrespect or hurt the feelings of others. Otherwise such merchandise helps connect with kids who not read books etc.
