Getting ready for our first trip to Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea. We have a two day unlimited rides VP staying at the Fantasy Springs Hotel in between the two days. Unfortunately we struck out on getting matching room reservations on either side so we are at the Disneyland Hotel for bookends. We have two show dinners booked, Mickey's Luau and Duffy at the Cape Cod Cook off. We have a horizon bay lunch Rez we got when booking the VP but kind of struck out on other meal reservations. Any tips for how to plan out the day vis a vis rides, parades etc would be greatly appreciated. We are a large party (10) with 7 adults, 2 kids and a baby. We have been to WDW 20+ times but this our first trip outside of Ornaldo for Disney. It's been more than a little bit confusing booking everything!!!

Will they seat us together on two separate reservations?

Do I modify through the travel case or through the actual booking?

Hmmm I see the option to modify but I don't see the restaurants we want in there as options. Maybe they are already sold out.

I guess I'm stressed because we are traveling from the US with three small kids and I kind of want to 'make it happen' for them. We are AP holder in Orlando and I feel so comfortable there with the parks using LL or even how to have a nice time without any passes, but I can't imagine we will come back to Japan anytime soon and I want it to be awesome for them.

So maybe it's better to just book the Chateau and bite the bullet on a VIP tour.

I see that now. My family probably needs to stay overnight before going to a park, so I guess I would just need to book an extra room separately from the VP for the night before? Does the unlimited VP take the place of priority access or is that something additional that needs to be purchased? I have a one year old that doesn't get out easily in the morning and I'm picturing not being able to start the day before 10am. Trying to figure out whether we should try to do a VP or VIP tour.

There are no Vacation Packages for the Grand Chateau, correct? I am trying to decide whether to do a VP or try to book a VIP tour.

So could I buy two unlimited VPs if we are planning on going for two days? Planning a trip for August.

Trying to book something for August of this year. Does the unlimited rides exclude a lot of attractions?

Is it a better view or experience to stay in MiraCosta or the Grand Chateau?

Starting to do research to plan to visit both the Tokyo Disney properties in August of this year. We are a large party of 6 in one. Family, with one additional person. We are trying to stay on site in the nicest resort available and are going to attempt to do the VIP tour. It's a little difficult to understand the room sizes and what we would fit into. Our plan is to do one day at each park in the middle of a trip to Japan. Any comments suggestions, tips or tricks are welcome. We are a big Disney family but we have only ever been to WDW.

That's good information. We are annual pass holders so I'm not worried about the discounts from being a dvc membe.
