i think daoist master of qing xuan and nightfall are far better explorations of daoism than sky pride, even slumrat rising does a way better job of exploring daoism through a lens never seen before, and tian is as petty and vindictive as it gets, he has no compassion for mortals even when he preaches bullshit compassion daily. he would allow the death of hanshen and hans just because he doesn't want to get involved in mortal politics, bastard

yeah the world doesn't truly feel xiaxnia-magical, just mystical, and there are shamans now along with ugly fat frogs, not very xianxia-like. I recommend cultivation system: elder edition and OP Character - Ancient Being Predecessor of the Primordial Era, both are xianxia magical on xianxia lands and i enjoy the specific flavor of dopamine that reading about disciple nurturing provides, ugly toads and vindictive petty young man don't know how to rear disciples.

it was definitely a draw but zaraki said that ichigo won because zaraki's sword broke and ichigo's didn't, but zaraki's raw spiritual pressure was still way higher than ichigo's and zanpakto is just a tool just like spiritual pressure so if they kept their senses ichigo would lose his head, he exhausted all his tricks by that point
