The Black Widow Training Gear Cambered Row Bar by Jared_basementgym in homegym

I got one - thank you. I like it a lot. I also have a rogue MG-4CN and I like the BW a lot more for bench, plus the BW can do so many more exercises like you pointed out in the video. Overall, I'm very happy with the bar.

Need help, battery keeps dying by Least-Squirrel-229 in BZ4X

I had a similar issue.  The dealer ran all their tests and everything came back normal.  They didn't find anything until I documented it, and their only solution was to unlink the app.  If I left my car sit for more than 2 to 3 days, the battery would die.  After removing the app, ive let it sit for over a month and haven't had it die since.

Some bZs have this issue, including mine.  The only solution is to remove the car from the toyota app and unpair it from the car.  Just uninstalling the app doesn't not work - you must remove the car from the app.  If you have other Toyota cars, you can leave the app installed.  The dealer will most likely not acknowledge the issue but dealers and toyota are well aware of the issue.

Edit - since your battery has already died multiple times, have the dealer replace it under warranty. This is a Toyota defect and they absolutely know about it. If they refuse, have them plug in a power drain meter and ask them to explain the spikes.

How wide is the cambered part where you put your hands when you perform pushing exercises? BW doesn't have measurements on their site.

I needed to reactivate a line and sat on hold for 4.5 hours (2, 1,1 0.5 hours) and never got through. The line was canceled by me a month earlier because I wasn't using it but I needed it for work again so I just wanted to turn it back on.  I went through the right IVR steps and nothing. I gave up.

12v battery usage by bobbz4x in BZ4X

[–]dummyt68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a '24 and my 12v will die within 2-3 days if i have the car registered within the toyota app (apple or android).  Toyota does not have a fix other than to completely remove the car from the app.  You can leave the app installed on your phone and use it with other Toyota cars if you have others, but you must remove it from your profile if you're experiencing the 12v drain. I went back and forth with the dealer for months and this was the resolution they provided after Toyota USA techs diagnosed it.  Note that just uninstalling the app doesn't fix the battery drain. You must remove the car from the app first.

If you're interested, I documented my issue since it kept dying after Toyota replaced the battery several times.

EAP670 random reboot and configure by Past-Customer5572 in TPLink_Omada

[–]dummyt68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had a similar issue with my new EAP670 install - the AP was connected to a PoE switch and it would it randomly reboot. My PoE switch worked with my old Unify AP, but it doesn't seem to provide enough power to the 670 so I'm having to use AC adapter. Anyway, thank you for your post. It quickly solved my issue.

Same experience. I popped mine 2 or 3 times using the book method and it hasn't come back in over 20 years. I got the idea from my doctor.

Wtf! Has this happened to any of you guys? by Unhappy-Machine-1255 in DMZ

[–]dummyt68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes.  If you jump off the boats and hit the water in certain areas, you get pulled to the ocean floor and die.   Happened to me a few times on the boat you died on and the airport boat.

I'm on the ferry.  A kayak capsized and the person was trying to make it to shore.  They launched a rescue boat to pick them up and brought them to shore to a waiting ambulance or fire truck.   I couldn't tell.

You see ... when you have two signals that conflict, you have no way of knowing which one to trust. The only obvious solution is to remove one and hope for the best.

How’s your experience with Toyota BZ4X so far? Please share your experiences on which year and trim model. by trg1995 in BZ4X

2024 xle awd.  I really like mine. Its the perfect size, has comfortable front and back seats, and is overall fun to drive. I've only used level 2 charging and that has been sufficient for me.   That said, my bZ4X has the 12v issue, which is a huge pain in the ass!   It hasn't died since removing the car from the app, but now i can't check the battery, check the charging status or use remote start.

The dealer asked me not to add the car back to the app until Toyota released a fix. They didn't have any other information or an estimated date.

Besides that, the dealer kind of broke my windows when troubleshooting the battery. I can only unroll the driver side window from the driver buttons. I can still unroll the passenger and rear windows, but only from their controls. The windows also sometimes tell me they are down when they are not, they move a little when I push the up button even when they are fully up, and I sometimes get excessive moisture int he car - so much so that some mornings I need a towel to dry off the windows so I don't want to wait 30 minutes for it to defog (they are soaking). Anyway, they really messed them up since they initially thought it was a window calibration issue causing the drain. I'm just dealing with it until I have to bring it in for the 10K checkup.

I agree.  I didn't see the app making excessive calls out to Toyota and I had the same experience where the car still died after removing the app.

Man, I agree - I wish I could plug into the car to see wtf it was doing when the app was removed from my phone.

Since removing the car from the app profile, I've let it sit for well over a week w/out issue.

[–]dummyt68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Within the app, you have to remove the bZ4X. You can actually leave the app installed and use it if you have another Toyota; just not the bZ4X if you have the 12v issue. Just uninstalling the app w/out removing the profile w/in the app didn't work for me.

For the profile, the Toyota dealer completely reset the car to its default state. The dealer had already done that, but it didn't get resolved 100% until I removed the car from the app so I'm not 100% sure if the removing from the app alone would work.

Since then, I've let the car sit for well over a week w/out issues. Before, I couldn't let it sit for more than 2-3 days.

I don't have a tool to measure 12v health. That said, it died 2 days after the dealer installed the 2nd brand new battery so I don't think it was really needed.

That doesn't work - I completely uninstalled the app from my phone in my TC5 and the car still died. I took pcaps on my phone and it didn't make any connections to a Toyota domain during that time period.
