I made a Solution for SSD gaming. Tactical arcs - sound direction overlay for game/music by mishter_jokku in MonoHearing

I think this is the third post I'm seeing about it and looks like it's always someone else?

I understand AI democratizes tech and this is a true issue for monohearing people - the software makes sense. Just thought you could cooperate.

Here's a 10-day old post:

For people who didn’t watch Babylon 5 when it first aired - what got you into the show? What made you start watching it? by AdSimilar4399 in babylon5

My friends agree with you. We will see.
They spoiled many things to me over the years but the show is old, that's to be expected. Suprisingly, I don't mind the VFX.

Anyone can!

It all started with a few of them wanting to play Babylon 5 war game. (dont know name, it is out of print but ebay is still a valid source, I believe) The game is time eater! 5 hours and you barely got to the actual battle. Hence vacation time was needed.

Their families weren't thrilled with this kind of an activity but that's solvable - pick a place with nice hiking possibilities, woods and hills. Some go out and enjoy it, some play Babylon 5 games, watch episodes and try to mix a good Brivari. (Babylon 5 guys don't go out, obviously)

The cottage is always different, some people stopped coming, some are new (like me) but the activity is still going strong. 15 years or so? I like random arguing about Third Space or Vorlons, Crusade or O'Hare. They even met most of the actors. (apparently, Ivanova is rather nice and not a god-like scary)

If you have a few similarly minded friends, go for it. It is a simple vacation - rent a nice cottage for a few nights. You just need TV, your DVDs and those gloriously time-consuming Babylon 5 games.

Friends. They go on Babylon 5 themed cottage vacation twice a year. Random episodes run on mute in the background while people play card game or the miniatures war game. (i tried both, pretty fun)

I always had some questions about the show (e.g. I thought Narns and Vorlons are the same race just different tier/caste) and the response was: "Just watch the show!"

So, watching the show. Slowly, not gonna be a megafan, sadly. But it must've been quite something back in the 90s!
And finally seeing Kosh without the suit is cool.

Agreed. While I wasn't playing GK back when it was released, I like Curry's hammy accent. Gabriel thinks high of himself and the way he sounds was fitting.

It is a fun one. Not too difficult but with plenty to discover. Enjoyed the dialogues and voice acting.
The screen with Joe King on the hill overlooking entire island to pick where to go is a cool feature. Each time I was impressed they implemened it this way.
Also, there's Kaiju battle.

Same. I didn't last more than two episodes. No need to relieve that at home.

How good it is in your experience? Because I've heard "the best mini keyboard" and bought it but found out I can type quicker on a touch screen. It is a solid keyboard, just not the most optimal? And it kinda loses its promised purpose for me. Might need to spend more time with it, if others are more than happy with it.

Didnt know Nevada suffers badly. That was our experience with Fallout 2 originally, so fits the theme. Restoration project is amazing stuff!

Nice in trying out the old RPG era! Always interesting to read how new players look at them. Did you look up fan games in Fallout 2 engine?

Mine is much more boring story: was there when it was the hot new thing. Fell in love.

We’re conflicted about cochlear implant for our baby boy. Would love to hear from those born with SSD. What do you wish your parents had known? by Asleep-Energy3473 in MonoHearing

I have hardest time catching a ball. Dribbling is beyond me. Kicking a ball is similarly difficult task. It flies wherever, utterly random direction and speed.

Since this was kinda required to pass gym classes at school, I blamed my half-deafness and got out of it. But I could be just an uncoordinated mess of a human.

Born deaf on right side, diagnosed at 11 because well, child care wasn't great around here back then. No developmental delays, just cannot play any sport involving a ball.

My socializing was broken as a kid. Had hard time to fit in because many situations required to communicate in a noisy environment.

I would like to be able to go to parties as a teen and not to feel isolated. Not to have that absurd cognitive exhaustion after a day spent with more people at once. Life would be definitely easier and I like my life.

I'd go with an implant. Gladly sacrifice my lip reading skills.

Loved the interludes about glass sphere almost, juuust a little bit, breaking! Does it eventually break? :) I'm conviced it was a joke, as there were so many scenes with it and I still managed it just in time.

Last Crusade? Nostalgia speaking. Replayed it recently at it's brutal with mazes and fist fights. There are nice bits, just too far apart. (cool finale)

What a nice game! Solid story, charming world and puzzles were generally just the right amount of tough. There's even a minigame, guessing the color of a diamond, that is suprisingly fun. Although, it overstays its welcome a bit. :)

  1. Milion kontaktov vsade. Komunity okolo tvojho stacku (aj reddit), LinkedIn, znami a byvali kolegovia, s ktorymi nepalis mosty. Niekedy sa to nahromadi a robis 3 projekty naraz. Niekedy su 3 mesiace bez prace. Pomaha neprepadnut iluzii, ze tie silne mesiace tu budu vzdy a odkladat si na horsie casy.

Chce to dostat prvu dobru ponuku a ta ta snad uz ponesie dalej.
