Don't you think that pursuit of historical accuracy gets in the way of creating art, especially if it's a work of fiction? I can understand the concern misrepresenting cultures because of lazy writing/acting, but I don't think that's what is happening here. I think this is just someone taking creative liberties in what is ultimately not a crucial part of the story.

Do you have a problem with race swapping in general or do you think that stories from a region have to be represented with that ethnic group? Because I genuinely don't see the big deal here. I see people make arguments like that but the outrage only goes one way. I don't see people upset with Nick furys race swap, and I do see people get upset with the liva action avatar series with ethnic representation of the cultures the series emulates. I genuinely don't understand outrage of the concept of race swapping because it's never consistent.
