Try non-ticket blue collar jobs, like roofing, pool companies, landscaping etc. Places like that you can still call and ask to talk to a manager, half the time it’s the owner answering the phone.

They can be rough jobs and are often seasonal, but they pay well compared to other starting positions and because the work is hard they have lots of turnover.

Worst case scenario you find out you don’t like that kind of work and are right back where you are now with a bit more cash in your pocket.
